The most pitiful thing i've seen for a while is the people comming into this thread with their head raised high, their monocle and tophat in perfect shape, as they proclaim their superiority over the peasants who refuse to hold back emotions.

Honestly, let people smash their stuff, not everyone can slide into your perfect idea of a human being, some people feel much better hitting a wall than just controlling it, and besides, they probably feel much worse because they have a stronger love for the game, the loss that makes you rage is the loss where you regret playing so horribly because you really want to be good.

As the OP said earlier in the thread, he decides to use his money to buy desks he can smash, just like you use your money to buy the newest in tophat fashion, that's what makes him happy.

No seriously, i like seeing people rage in multiplayer events. I always rage when i lose to my brother in any game, never in sc2 though. But i'm really enthusiastic when i manage to pull a miracle win (for my standards). Then i jump up and/or scream at the monitor.

I raged so hard on ladder today. I went like 5-14 I think or something retardedly bad and my MMR dropped so far down.

I threw my bedside table out the window during a ladder session once.

I had to explain it to my house mates but didn't want to go into it and explain why SC2 would make me do it, or want them to think I had a problem. So I told them I had an argument with my parents.

The closest I ever come to raging is building extractors everywhere when my opponent pre-emptively gg's to waste their time for being a jerk (BM doesn't bother me but I can't stand when people gg first). Currently I'm sitting in a game where a guy did a pre-emptive gg so I built extractors everywhere and he thinks he is being clever by leaving the last one alone to "waste my time". So while he does this (And thus has wasted 20 minutes so far) I'm happily enjoying some Plants vs. Zombies on my other monitor, browsing TL, watching NASL etc.

Edit: He finally gave up and killed it with mass infested Terrans. 42 minutes in.
