Well, there's not much else to it. Pepsi is the main sponsor for this GSL.

I'm cool with Pepsi or Coke. Don't see why I have to favour one over the other. I find Pepsi to have more of a sweet taste, whereas Coke is a little more bitter.

Coca-Cola just has a much deeper flavor, more nuances to it, and it isn't just a bunch of sugar to cover up the lack of any flavor. I loved when Coke sponsored the GSL. The best is when you put a can in the freezer for 1 hour, so it's like a carbonated slushy. Then you put it in one of those freezie cups with a water layer, which freezes it more. I can't believe how many people think Pepsi taste better or is the same :O

Otherwise we wouldn't be able to say that Nada got 3 MSL gold kekeke ![]() Anyway, I'm not surprised at all to see mainstream brands sponsoring e-sports event. Sports leagues change sponsors all the time... seems like you're spewing nonsense. Also there's a difference between the sponsorship Coca-Cola provided and the sponsorship Pepsi is providing. Coca-Cola, Razer etc are minor sponsors where they just give free products like drinks, headsets etc. Pepsi is in a similar position sponsorship-wise to the way LG was for the last few GSL's, much much more involvement then just free drinks.

I love how you didn't read the chemistry lesson, and how close it is chemically to sugar and how are body responds. Science yo, its good shit! Except the only reason 'local businesses' grow so much corn is because of tax benefits that are (surprise surprise) given out by the government to begin with. If corn wasn't so cheap for farmers (in terms of tax reasons) then it wouldn't be grown. So basically the government has an unholy obsession with corn. They aren't looking out for local businesses. As for the 'chemistry lesson,' sorry but throwing jargon around doesn't prove anything. The only thing I gathered is that sugar and HFCS are chemically similar, but a lot of things are chemically similar yet are vastly different. Case in point: http://urlybits.com/2011/03/a-chemistry-joke/ I've read many scientific and non-scientific sources that disagree with what the article wrote, so I fail to see your point when everyone claims to know the truth. It's clear that he shrugs off the obesity issue though.

On topic though... this is awesome... for ESPORTS! YOUR AWESOME FOR E-SPORTS. No but honestly this is huge. I think that they must of seen Coca Cola benefited from this or else they wouldn't have gotten into the market. I think that it shows that these major companies, even ones that are outside the electronic industry, can benefit from the exposure obtained by hosting major tournaments such as these. I hope this continues as this is extremely important for e-sports as a whole!

What I suggest to do is write to Pepsi, and Coke and say you drink Pepsi since they sponsor the GSL in Korea. Maybe it'll push coke to sponsor it again. Also write to Stride and say you exclusively choose Stride since they sponsor Tyler and ESports. It gives them satisfaction and enough of these letters will push them to help grow esports even more.

Haha, done and done. I've been meaning to tell Stride that I chew their brand exclusively now, thanks for the push. You might be able to get Wilfred Brimley to sponsor your type 2 diabeetus? Or at the very least, you can buy your cheap testing supplies from him.
