While he was getting a lot of experience and exposure as an esports caster/spokesperson, If he wants to continue playing on a high level as a Player for the immediate future, I don't think he can maintain all of his responsibilities he has. NASL, SoTG, I feel like he is freeing up a lot of valuable time and will be improving a lot if he uses the time for practice.

I just wanted to say that I am saddened by this news on top of his departure from SotG. I have typically sided with his views on the growth of SC2 and eSports in general and I am bummed that he is stepping away from another pedestal with which to promote professionalism in both word and example. I have often felt like he is one of the few "adults" around and will miss having someone as a frequent spokesman for views like mine. But, I'd certainly not begrudge him the option of doing what he feels is best for him and hope that this move, along with others he appears to be making help him reach whatever goals he is setting for himself.

I thought inControl and Gretorp didn't gel for about the first week of NASL, I found myself cringing a little bit. But then they relaxed to each other's style and it became really enjoyable. I particularly like inControl's deadpan method of telling a joke or making an observation on the game at hand. I prefer inControl to any other caster NASL has had on so far, so gonna be sad times for me.

That being said, if this is what he wants then so be it. But if I were him I would much rather spend time with my hot girlfriend while casting, much more relaxed and profitable probably.

But on the other hand it's nice to see inc acknowledging his time commitments are detrimental to his playing and push towards becoming a better player. gl man

I assume he believes the reason he isn't that great of a player is because he's doing all this stuff on the side. I really wonder what the dick will happen to the NASL now though, or if there will be a NASL left in a year.

Bullshit, incontroll takes games off players who have alot better mechanics just because his decision making scouting and getting the right unit comp is excesively good. He just misses some mechanics which he can improve on when he practises more.
