Good show.

That Thorin guest is pretty well informed but a bit too contrarian occasionally. His Slasher-bashing schtick is a bit old by now. Don't really get the stamp collecting metaphor when it comes to Dota 2. Sure, some people who cover esports are into SC2, others into Dota 2. Fine, keep it that way. What did Wheat say again in response? His comment was short-sighted and narrow-minded?

As far as buying pizza is concerned, he should let EG do the marketing. A sale is a sale for Papa John's. Ad campaigns don't usually result in permanently elevated sales. Some arm-chair marketing isn't gonna settle whether this is a good idea or not.

I hope this "Thorin" person is not on again. He's like a british version of Destiny. His comments are pennywise and pound foolish. He drones on and on and turns everything into the same subject. And all those unnecessary, sarcastic, personal attacks made me cringe.
I had to turn off halfway through the show.

I liked the show until Thorin started talking about dota. I wanted to punch my screen during that section. Overall job show though, thanks wheat and co.

Dota is a pretty secluded game, the only people who are really involved in Dota and other games is like 2GD+Dreamhack guys+Some TL guys. Other than that we have our own leagues, we have our own production studios, we have our own news sites.

Like the people who could host that know at least something about Dota are like 2gd/hellspawn/greykarn maybe like hot_bid/kennigit? And who's to say any of them even want to.

I respect Thorin for at least admitting he knows nothing about it unlike Richard Lewis. And the 1 point that he did make, about Lans, isn't as true now as it was last year, but it's still not completely untrue.

Thanks for the MP3s. Until now I always made them myself because I didn't know they were available and sometimes it was pain in the ass to get up one hour earlier to convert the show to MP3 so I have something to listen to at work.
