I don't know how representative Chris G's view is of the collective FCG but this isn't healthy. I'm all for supporting our FCG brethren but this negativity will not serve them well. At least in our SC community, for every idiot bemoaning MOBAs stealing our mindshare or forecasting doom with any little tournament hiccup, we have multiple real eSports fans supporting our cause and helping to create a bigger pie. His tirade strikes me as naive and short-sighted. Sucks for the FCG community that he's someone with a voice given his recent results. | ||

Talking about how you "don't even get 5 figures" from a win and that's unlike other eSports? What? He even mentioned CS:GO, as if any single player has ever won 5 figures in a CS:GO tournament. Alliance just pulled off one of the most amazing feats in eSports history and they walked away with 8k each, playing against teams owned by millionaires. Pretty sure they were quite happy with that prize pool, even being from a country which is significantly more expensive than America. | ||
