Right now I'm watching all the matches in each gsl and I'm thinking of toning it down to ro16 code S and up and ro8 or ro16 code A and up. I just don't have the time to watch the gstl over a 10 week period. I've become a lot more selective in what i watch. If i have time, i'll watch almost everything. If not, i won't. Especially earlier rounds of GSL.
This new GSTL i'm not sure how it will go in terms of viewing hours a week, so i can't comment on that. But for regular GSL format the early weeks (Code S groups for example) i skip a lot of it maybe 70-80% of it and only watch my favourite players or recommended matches. Often its just bad foreplay and not even Tastosis can make me care about some of the players who are STILL in Code S.

If they added July Season with Purchase of GSTL I will be content.
I feel like only watching live is worth it for GSL vods arent as exciting. When I can know results already.

still cost effective will buy
|
Way too expensive, won't buy unless it drops to $5 or less because there's far too many free HQ streams around nowadays anyway.
|
GSL should do some packs or smth, like GSL + GSTL in 1 pack, -5$ or smth.
But anyway, ofc gonna buy this one, 25$ for 25 days isnt much. and it is GSTL !

I dont understand how you guys can say no to this. The reason why it's been so cheap is because seasons before this the team league was only 4 days and now its a month long. This what we wanted isn't? More team league. Now u guys bitch and whine, " No. No way am I paying for this GOM, u guys just want more of my money!!" Iike really? It's pretty stupid to want more team league and not expect to spend more.

will purchase almost no matter what it costs (within reason) because i need to see these games

It's like everyone forgot how epic the GSTL's were lol ]: it's like a mini proleague now, I like it. Price is okay, a bit expensive to before but still, worth it imo.

I think it's more reasonable than the earlier GSTLs tbh. This time there are a LOT more matches compared to the price, and a much nicer format.

Before, we got $5/4 days aka $1.25/day.
This GSTL will be about 12 weeks, 2 days each week. That is 24 days for $25 dollars.
Now, we have $25/24 days aka $1.04/day.
It is actually cheaper than before on a per-day basis. We still have 2 matches a day like before, but they will be bo5s. So the games will theoretically be (at most) 2 games shorter on average. I won't factor that in because 1) I'm lazy 2) I don't care about that difference. So sure the price/game might go up a bit but I think in the end, it will be about the same.
exactly, what he wrote. We're not really paying more ]: come on guys buy GSTL

I hope they make some kind of universall pass that works for all tournaments for 1 months with some discount for people who watch all the tournaments from GSL, its kinda annoying to buy 3-4 times tournamet tickets during the month. One Tournament ticket would still be possible to buy for those who don't wanna watch all of it and got preferences.

I was actually going to buy this season, but after seeing that price I feel like it's a bit too much money. So yes, it's too expensive in my opinion.

Needs to be a combined GSL+GSTL pass for $30 or something

I love GOM but this is pushing it. Probably pass.

I'm sorry but 25$ is not "expensive"
25$ is 2 orders of delivery, or less than half of a new game, honestly it's just not much money.
People will complain about ANYTHING.

$20 would be reasonable imho.

I do the reverse actually. I subconsciously measure everything against a GSL season price.
"This Subway sandwich is half the price of a GSL, that's way too much"

40USD is very expensive just to skip the ads, sounds pretty insane to charge that imo since this isn't paperview fighting matches or something. I'll just try to catch the free stream live sometimes or something because they've taken enough of my money already lol. I hope they just make GSTL the cheap one to watch and the average run the expensive one someday. 40 is just greedy imo. :/
