I need my GSL fix, so for me it's a non issue. while im not as crazy as this guy (and it'd be easy to pirate at that price), i'll definitely buy it at 40 bucks too, imo you forgot an important fact: GSTL is fucking amazing

Like two minutes of ads to start, gigantic, gigantic overlay ads over the screen in between matches and during the first 30 seconds of the game. They could target those ads towards poor students who can't afford GSTL tickets :D Overall though, $40 seems okay, considering it's the cost of seeing four movies in a theater, or less than some xbox videogame you'll play for 8 hours ![]()

Is it something I want? Yes. Is it priced fairly? Yes. Can I afford it? No. -> Cut out a few cookies and cake from weekly food budget. Can I afford it now? Yes. There are so many things you constantly pay for. Night out on the town is expensive, to the movies, eating everyday. If you have a part of your budget available for leisure things like the advancement of ESPORTS but it's just not enough, then cut other things out. Unless you eat close to nothing and when you eat you only eat like rice, the food budget should be an amazing place to cut. Do I want to eat 2 boxes of cookies, 3 bags of crisps, 10 cans of coke, a pot of ice cream and steak this week. Or do I skip the tasty foods, eat egg sandwich a few times, and then eat all the other stuff every week while watching the GSL.

Before, we got $5/4 days aka $1.25/day. This GSTL will be about 12 weeks, 2 days each week. That is 24 days for $25 dollars. Now, we have $25/24 days aka $1.04/day. It is actually cheaper than before on a per-day basis. We still have 2 matches a day like before, but they will be bo5s. So the games will theoretically be (at most) 2 games shorter on average. I won't factor that in because 1) I'm lazy 2) I don't care about that difference. So sure the price/game might go up a bit but I think in the end, it will be about the same.

I'd like to see a monthly subscriber option from Gom. They'd have a stable customer base from month to month and solid figures to work with.

Also, the amount of games is really high. 30 Bo5 4 Bo7 1 Bo9 http://www.gomtv.net/2011super1/news/65543 Here is written that a 'pennant race' is Bo7 and all play-offs are Bo9 though. So even more matches? :D Or did I miss something :o
