No offense to the other players but THIS.

Good luck to all involved.

For why Kiwikaki and Slush didn't join the team probably isn't because they didn't want to. It's probably because they couldn't. I'm sure that they couldn't join the team because they live in Canada and Complexity is an American organization. They more than likely would have to sponsor Slush and Kiwikaki with a visa I believe. There could also be contract implications based on that. That's why I believe that Complexity didn't pick them up.

I'm sure complexity wants to stay as an American team and doesn't have the resources or doesn't want to have a contract with non US residents, and Kiwi/Slush don't want to move to America.

This is a silly theory for various reasons, but I'd like to point out ddoro and drewbie live in canada

Drewbie lives in Florida in the house and I'm not entirely sure where Ddoro lives. Ddoro could also have a visa allowing him to travel/move easily to the US while the other two do not.

I just find it odd that the Two Canadians didnt join with the team (the ones living in Canada) and the American members did join.

Its been hinted that kiwi and slush already have new teams lined up, so maybe they just got offered a better deal? as they are the most 'successful' of the root players.

Hey guys, thanks for all of the posts - it's a very sad day that we announce the end of ROOT but exciting for what's happening in the future. Far too obvious. It has to be some sort of vast, anti-Canadian conspiracy!

So wait, are they now Col.Catz, Col.Drewbie etc.? I always thought Root was a better team than complexity but oh well. Exciting to see the players get better opportunities! I swear Root just picked up a ton of sponsors though? Ah well it's a shame to see a team disappear but at the same time exciting to see where Kiwi and Slush go! Slush impressed a lot at MLG so I expect a big team to pick him up.

Arguably, Kiwikaki and Slush were the best players on Root. I'm not sure if this was a good choice for complexity gaming. I wonder where those two will land.

Also, what happens to Fayth and Sundevil?

Well, tbh, Kiwi and slush, to me, are on a different level than the other guys in ROOT. Makes sense to me. They're leaps and bounds above coL guys. At least kiwi is. I'd say kiwi is one of the best toss on NA.

It has nothing to do with them being Canadian or living in Canada.

This, Complexity already has Stalife, Rsvp and Firezerg, who all are Canadian. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with that.

I would bet Kiwi and slush go to FXO with qxc

If Kiwi and Slush couldn't join because they were Canadian, it would have been mentioned in the OP. TheAuditor, you're wrong.

Anyway, this is kinda cool news. Kiwi and Slush were my favorite ROOT guys though, so I'm very interested to see where they go. I'm hoping for FXO or Liquid. FXO is probably the most likely, and I'd love to see the two playing in the GSTL.

I'd say Kiwikaki to EG.
Incontrol hinted on his stream that EG is looking to expand their roster.

I have no idea about slush but he's a good player so he should have no problems finding a good team, maybe FXO

People tend to base their opinions off results rather than actual play. Hopefully Complexity covers travel and we'll get to see Minigun kicking ass at more events. :3

Isn't Root like 7-2 vs EG in clan wars? It's funny cause Idra always talks down on them and they keep beating EG.
