This is awesome news. Glad to see a team step up and send their entire squad over.

Even if FXO has trouble (especially at first), they will all become significantly better players playing on that ladder and having to compete against that quality of players.

When they do come back they will be much better than when they went there.

I wonder who's going to be the new addition to the FXO roster in Korea. They said they aren't using mercs, but there aren't very many notable players out there that aren't already on a team.

Tasteless is an interesting possibility, considering his former relationship with EG. If I remember correctly the idea was going to facilitate setting up EG's team house in Korea. Perhaps he's considering a similar relationship with FXO.

Another possibility is Day9. Probably not as a player because he's not in shape, but considering his background with the D9Ds I'm sure he'd make a good coach. Day9 vs Cella...nom nom. Does FXO even have a coach? I know FXOBoss is a manager but thats very different from acoach. And if FXO wants to get serious in the GSTL then they'll need a good coach.

We have 2 capable coaches and 2 players who are capable of picking up anything the coaches miss. We are more than ready And I will be there to challenge cella!

Great to hear that FXO is going to the GSTL. I really enjoy watching Sheth and qxc play so I'm excited to see how their play in particular will evolve and improve after the korean experience.

But this is just awesome in general, their entire team will improve after playing in the GSTL and on the korean ladder daily. Their team will become stronger and in-turn create better competitions for the viewers when they return from Korea. This is a win-win for all involved and I can't wait. I really hope FXO does well and achieves their goals for their trip. Good luck!!!

This is probably one of the best news I've ever heard in a long long while. I probably wouldn't ever put my money on FXO (at first at least, I mean, come on!) but I'm definitely interested to see how FXO does and what impact they will have in the long run.

Best luck! But a second tier team isn't gonna make great entertainment and even less competition in GSTL FXO has no big names in their rooster, no big wins and no big experience in GSTL oriented team games.

Mousesports? Teamliquid? Evil Genius? Those team would have a fighting chance but FXO has a chance to prove me wrong.

Wow, I can't wait to see them play. I love a lot of their members, so it's going to be awesome to see them all together.
Seriously?

Sheth and qxc are the only ones who have a chance at putting a dent in GSTL teams. Everything else is essentially being thrown into a meat grinder, but I am sure that will change with time. So long as they are going into this knowing that results are going to be tough to achieve at first, and this is more of a long-term thing, it seems reasonable.

I really wish the best for FXO, I just hope that this goes better than when players like Spades gave it a shot and got kind of shut down.

Brilliant news!

Even if people think FXO is not that good, they'll get better at such a stratospheric rate in Korea!

It's funny how Koreans' reactions are 10 times more positive than those from here in TL.

Could we get some translations? Possibly in another thread even. This is interesting to me.

Hmm you guys need to consider that this is a bo1 system : everything can happen.. A less skilled player can win with a proper strategy that's why they have a chance imo. I'm a bit sad though that the richer team, instead of the best will represent the foreign community, but I hope they'll prove me wrong.
That's why I'm gonna root for them anyway!
