It's nice to see a team who is financially able to do bold moves such as these that can really bring together new things. The team doesn't have a well established roster who have proven themselves. These players will have a lot on their shoulders since they are essentially representing the foreigners. But with that said, I feel with this competitive training environment, that it could bring out the potential in these hopefully talented players. I think a lot of what stops the success of players is being lazy and not having a strict regime to follow through on. With the gom house and no other commitments except to eat and sleep I am expecting to see some high level play as there is no excuse for otherwise. I don't expect them to take any gstl's or anything but as long as the experience is worthwhile for them, I consider it a success.

So umm, what about points for teams that were calculated to see which teams would attend GSTL based on their players in Code-A and Code-S? Am I thinking about another event? IIRC, a good team was left out in the last GSTL because their points did not add up to top 8.

There will be 11 teams. Basically, every team in Korea with enough players, will be in. WeMade Fox only has Moon and Lyn.

They changed the format, there are no qualifications for it now. All you need is enough players and your team there.

Congrats and good luck to FXO!! :D

I am surprised by all glass-half-empty sentiments. I think is win-win for everyone, including the spectators. If FXO gets all-killed, every single one of their players will get the chance to play on stage in Korea! It's a great experience even if that happens.

go-go-go!!!

A bit off-topic but they also have a third player: Soccer.

I'm so hyped for the next GSTL. I think I might write an article, ranking the chances of each team going into the league after the Super Tournament Grand Final. If Ho Seo gets in, I think FXO might be better overall than them. San is a Code S class player, but he's so terrible at PvP, that all a team would need to do is send someone good at four gate and he's done. After him, it's a whole lot of nothing except for maybe VanVans.

FXO is really going to study their opponents hard, find their weaknesses, and try to snipe their aces to have any chance. Even if they lose all their games, I'm sure going to Korea and playing in such a great tournament with all the tension will be a great boost to their futures.

Pretty exciting news! Best of luck!
There was once a dream that was Esports. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish... Now is the time to make that dream a reality!

edit:

nvm somehow mixed up Moonglade and Moonan in first post. -.-

On another note, i hope the new FXO player is ToD.
Surely the most talented player without a team out there.

That's exactly why they changed the format to include all major teams with enough players.

Sheth all-kill SlayerS and FXO prove all haters wrong. Awesome opportunity for the FXO Players to improve, great thing for foreign E-Sports. I would love to see their improvements over the 2months.

Awesome news. I think this is a very good decision on FXO's part. Even if FXO can't quite compete with the top Korean teams (they might be able to!), this should be a great opportunity for all the team members. The professionalism and dedication in Korea is still unmatched anywhere else, and the pros who experience it usually come out the better. Also, being in the booth and broadcast across the web brings legitimacy and recognition to a player. All around I think this is a positive decision.

Best of luck to the team! I can't wait to see them in the next GSTL.
