This format doesn't work for Starcraft. When a guy goes 4-3 and finishes 4th, whereas another guy goes 11-2 and finishes 8th, you have to suspect something is wrong with the system. At the very least, you can't really say anything about the placings at MLGs. The winner probably deserves to win but beyond that it is hard to really suggest that any of the other placings will mean anything. This of course will change as MLG progresses throughout the year, but rankings at this point mean pretty much nothing. Therefore, as always I shall root for a win from the open bracket, like Naniwa did, which would be a truly deserved 1st place. | ||
