OTHER: I didn't pay for a premium pass just to watch obnoxious ads every 5 minutes. premium passes should cover the lost income from the ads (by like 100x... they only get like $0.02 per ad view), so why the <insert expletive> should i still have to watch ads? Also, I'm sick of looking at black screens. Honestly, throw up an MLG Returning Soon... logo or something, ANYTHING, but the black screen. Production value just isn't there. It's improved since Dallas, but still just simply doesn't compare to the GSL / NASL / TSL in any way. I understand it's a live LAN event.... but honestly guys, get your priorities straightened out. Halo has the same size area as SC2 at MLG, and there are like 100x more people for the SC2 crowd then halo.... simply doesn't make sense. SC2 should be the #1 priority, to put it bluntly. It's like having the same budget for Women's basketball as it is for Men's basketball. Doesn't make sense. | ||

I kind of agree with you, but not enough too not pay for it, the advertisements really should be gone for HQ, I'm hoping they are only showing this much because the HQ is for free - I'm hoping that when the payment goes through tomorrow it won't continuously show ads. I have the coupon thingy from last MLG and haven't applied it yet, assuming it will become available tomorrow. | ||

The only issue I have is the ads. I will STILL be paying $10 for a ticket, however its a bit of an annoyance that I have to listen to Fergie skull a Dr Pepper every 10 minutes. I think it'd be a good idea to ask the VIEWERS what they want to pay in order to watch the HD. If you're still giving us ads, I think that'd be the fairer option. And, to be honest, i would pay more than $10. I appreciate that there are people out there that wouldn't, and I respect that. You only need to look at Star Nations (a feature length documentary) where MANY people have donated $15 and UP, where MLG is giving us 2 streams of SC2 over 3 days. Or... Make it $10, still see the ads. make it $15 to get rid of the ads. At 0.02c per view, thats a few thousand ads.... You're not showing me that over 3 days. You get more money, I get a better viewing experience. | ||

I wouldn't pay to do that either, not on tv or the internet at least, The only way i would dish out money for a competitive event is to actually be AT the event. I don't mind ads because i do recognize that the event does cost money to operate, Perhaps i should elaborate more. Lets give hockey as an example, I will not pay to watch hockey on tv or on the web because i feel some what disconnected from the event, however to see the games in person at the arena i would it do if I thought i had the money to spear because of the environment and connection you feel as well as the chance to actually meet the players, get what I'm trying to say? | ||

Wass it the the lack of moving cameras? It was wasn't it. I was impressed with this and would definitely consider a HD pass if my internet wasn't so terrible and there weren't any commercials for HD pass holders. That should definitely be looked upon. | ||

Not to mention.... they're just playing on Bnet? Wtf is that. Get the same client that GSL uses, ffs. And the ads..... christ. Every time you switch quality or stream too? Like going from red stream to blue stream HD I have to watch 2 ads, I miss like a full minute of whatever game is going on from that. Wth? | ||
