This collaboration between MLG and GSL is so exciting and perfect, but also sharing the casters would probably be amazingly perfect and awesome.
I'm keen on hearing more info about the stream.

You will be able to watch - details regarding our efforts there to follow shortly. We're stepping our game up in big ways. Assuming you spend a month in korea and win a code A you get about 1300 dollars minus all the living expenses costs...which basically makes leaving to go play code A not all that valuable. Assuming you were willing to spend a month to compete in Code S, you could potentially make out, but you could just as easily not. Add in things like IPL and NASL starting to give away big prizes and I actually can't help but think a lot of the NA/EU players playing in those would turn the Code S and Code A down because korea is largely a difficult place for a foreign pro player to make a living. Players who have good team financial backing being the exception such as the liquid guys. Flip side the koreans show up for a weekend, gain an advantage over all foreigners in the open brackets, can take home the top prize in a 3 day stay and head back to korea and not even miss competing in the GSL. Fans will like the idea a ton, I think in practice however it won't be nearly as appealing for NA/EU players as it will be for Korean players. Whether or not it will help grow the western esports scene is anyones guess. Apparently you can't read, all travel and accomodation expenses are paid by GSL. But that doesn't matter they'd still be at a disadvantage in any NASL matches they have to play with lag and playing in the middle of the night and can't participate in the IPL at all. Plus all the other online tournaments and team leagues and I really think people are going to be dissapointed when almost all the top players decline the invite.

Thanks a lot :-) <3 Yes, very much this. This makes going as a spectator that much more enticing... hmmm Thanks guys. But in all seriousness, Thank @MLGSundance, John Nelson and @MLGClap. These guys built the league. I just get to work on SC2 :D Thanks to all you guys for putting this together - I'm really excited for this. On a different note: @MLGClap? I really hope you guys make fun of this guy in your office for choosing a VD as his ID. you do not want to make fun of clap, iirc incontrol and scared of him!

I'm not at all saying that I'm opposed to this collaboration. In fact, I think this is a great opportunity to encourage home-grown talent in the US since winning a local tournament might mean you have a shot at the GSL. It is just a little unfair to Koreans.
