I agree. I'm hoping the GSL gets a format change for ro32 pool play. The whole 0-2 thing is very poor entertainment value. That's another topic though, i think they talked about it on SotG a week or 2 ago also.

The fact that they have partnered with a streaming company means that Im no longer worried about the technical side of things (touch wood!). As for the tournament itself, it means more Dreamhack type tournaments around the world pitching foreigners vs Koreans in a LAN so how can anyone not want to watch that? Imagine some of the Foreigners who could be at the GSL. Hopefully the combined exposure of these joint tournaments will mean that sponsors send all the best EU players to MLG now.

I'm curious who will make way for 1 extra Code S player ..? Seems like it will disrupt the current GSL system where 3rd and 4th placed player go into Up-Down matches vs Code A players.

I dream for a day when Koreans and foreigners travel freely across the world to play in tournaments everywhere. You know who i want to hear from right now? The IM Coach. It was not 3 weeks ago or whatever when Artosis posted that interview with him and his expressed greatly his desire for more foreigner interaction. His focus may have been different, but here we are now with one of his brightest young stars in Losira one of the 4 going to MLG. So good. Seriously i can't sleep now i'm so excited >_>

I believe it's already been tweeted at some point that they were working on booths, but nothing has been announced. All MLG needs is two booths for whatever two players are scheduled to be cast. If this can happen at Columbus, paired with this amazing announcement about the exchange program, this shit's going to be the best thing ever.

This kind of colaboration between leagues is what will make esports "boom", not to mention that this will produce ridiculous games between the best of the best. MLG and GOM delivered more than anyone could expect at this point :D
