He has awesome micro and in the early stages of the development of SC2, he did quite well because no one knew any optimal strategies. As time goes on and the games becomes more refined, his macro/refinement/decision making will pull him down while more talanted mechanical players will rise to the top. Also, people are falling for protoss all-ins less and less, which was a big part of his success. He was the first player to win two championships, thus for a time becoming the best Sc2 player in the world. Whether he's going to be good in the future or not. At that stage he had more than enough going for him to justify his confidence. Geeze, get off his back already. Some people like to be themselves alright?

if I were to just judge him off the 2 games I've seen from him against MKP I'd say he's top 3 protoss player in the world, and possibly the best he has the army control of MC, but also has really good builds and patience

When it comes to MMM though, Korea has the edge. I believe Jinro once said on his stream or somewhere that he said mech vs protoss sucks now maybe he was just frustrated but I'm pretty sure he said that. And Goody really isn't good. (This is coming from a Terran) Goody's micro and decision making is extremely bad for a professional terran, he was just overrated because he beat nestea. Goody has been performing awful in the NASL and got embarrassed in the TSL I can't remember who he played against but he just got stomped.

Can't help but to root for him in the GSL as an honorary member of the foreign sc2-world now. I especially loved when he said this: "I was kind of shocked when I trained in Europe vs. Terrans how good they really are" People in the forum are never taken seriously when comparing foreigner vs koreans the way he does in this interview, but you kind of have to when it comes from MC.

Too bad they are nerfing thors Yeah. I don't get the nerf. I guess HT didn't counter enough units in the terran aresenal as-is.
