Obviously its up to Incontrol if he wants to be on State of the Game or not and its his choice how much of his reasons for leaving he wants to divulge if any, but what I (and many others I feel) is angry about is being lied to by EG and Incontrol. If its none of our business then say that just anything but purposely mislead and lie to the community.
What frustrates me even more is when people make comments like "well this is how its done in soccer or hockey" Well quite frankly Fuck that, I hold the Sc2 community to a MUCH higher standard and I do not expect or accept the same kind of bullshit here. Two wrongs don't make a right bitches.

This. I don't expect them to address it by the end of the show either.
This has been incontrol argumentation 101 for a while now though. On a semi-related NASL note, Xeris does it too. ^^

CHIBSQUAD i would like to ask you about the failure that was cs promod
p.s. "work in silence" =/= get on a stream and complain

I wish they would stop talking about all this drama..... and stuff can they not just focus on Tournaments, and actual Starcraft related material... maybe the low view count will make them decide to change the direction the show is

Your source for this information? I believe that is your just opinion which is fine, but to me this is just ridiculous

I doubt that very much. My stream might be working again for all I know, I just completely lost interested a while ago.

just a thought about what EG feels is an "appropriate PR response".
Maybe in this modern day of transparency on the internet, and given the fact that the gaming community is very perceptive and highly connected to the internet, maybe both companies -and- sponsors need to change the way they handle "PR responses"...
-maybe- they should err on the side of transparency... it's better than letting people guess otherwise, It will be hard to believe we are ever getting an accurate answer from team EG..
times, technology and consumers are changing and business models need to change with them..
Not sure what the right way to go is.. but it seems as if team EG puts a little too much 'PR' into how they communicate with the community.

Frankly I am suprised and very happy that EG had the guts to come out an be honest. After reading all the posts and listening to the show I am much more comfortable with what happened. It sounds like it was much more a coincidence of bad circumstances that snowballed into what happened, than any vindictive conflict between sponsers. The reason that most of the people on here have such hate for EG is simply because they are unaware of how business works, and felt cheated out of a great personality. After listening to what Alex had to say, I cant see how people would still be upset over it.
It would be nice if InControl went back to STOG but I would understand if he didnt. I hope that Scoots And/Or Alex know that the big silent group of people (perhaps older?) understand that circumstances like this happen all the time in the real world. I for one am thankful that things have been cleared up and explained.
I hope both shows succeed, best of Luck STOG and ITG.

It was hovering around 5k~ and rising before the stream started crashing. After that it dropped quickly because it never stabilized.

This is a game. EG is a team revolved around the game, who the heck cares what they do, as long as it doesn't hurt anybody else in the community? Incontrol leaving SoTG is not hurting the community. I hate to break it to you, but everyone is replaceable (I love Incontrol and I will miss him on SoTG, but I'm sure someone will fill his place nicely). I'm not explaining this very well, but I'm sure someone will respond (hopefully respectfully), and I will reply back with more clarity.
Oh, and to say my views on the "issue", I think people are making far too big of a deal of this. But then again, my life is quite hectic and have alot of shit to deal with, so this seems like a non-issue to me. I guess it's all about the perspective.

Or because people lost interest. Obviously the initial drop was mostly because of the stream issues, but I had my stream working again, and I stopped watching anyway, except for "look-in" every now and then.

I got bored and left; their drama is dull. Incontrol can do what he wants and I won't cry. WTF??

I wonder how many people realise ITG isn't really in the same genre as SotG. ITG is closer to the Day9 Daily. It's supposed to be a noobie learning show. If comparisons are to be done then compare it to the Day9 Daily not SotG.
They really shouldn't have mixed in all this drama with it but I understand djWHEAT is very passionate about the topic and wanted to address it asap.

Well I never got it to fully work until the very end, and going by the chat I assume I wasn't alone. I'm sure a lot of people lost interest as well, but I still think the stream issues was the biggest deal.

ME! I left because it was too laggy. ^^

They can spout full transparency all they want, but they still didnt adress any of the most important concerns. And now in a bad attempt at damage control you go out and say incontrol can do sotg again?Really this makes no sense whatsoever.
