I could and should have phrased it an awful lot better than I should and as a result that detracted from the point I was trying to make. I was also acting on limited information and should not have been so judgmental without knowing more. I have clearly and unfairly singled out EG in a negative fashion, which they did not deserve and although it was not my intention, they were my words and I have to own up to what I said.
I am sorry.
I knew I respected you for a reason. Props for being a man about it. <3

I know you hate to hear this but to be frank the koreans have the korean ladder. They don't have this glorious training regimen you referenced where they design days around singular strategies and hammer it out to rocky montage music for 12 hours straight. They ladder.
They ladder and they play about 25% customs and each week they have a ranking league within the house to inject some competition but also determine 5 man squads for GSTL, IPLTAC, EGMCS etc..
You took your opinion, as a man who carries a lot of weight in the community with your fan base and projected an ignorant message that koreans have some magical training regimen that can be copied by foreigners but simply isn't because they are too lazy and their leading team house is a "frat house" (which you continue to ignore how that is insulting). Turns out they have access to the best league on the planet on a monthly basis which breeds more competitive play/motivation and they get to train on the best ladder on the planet with no latency. When they do decide to custom they are training vs players that would rank in the top 3 of any region outside of korea. TB doesn't know shit about Korean training conditions but he's not really hating, more like tough love and just holding you guys up to a higher standard since EG is arguably the premier foreign team. Being so high profile gives you higher expectations by default. That's actually a positive considering no one gave 2 shits about lack of results from other lesser known foreign teams, or Korean ones for that matter. In fact a lot of the new SC2 fans had the same sentiment. They were all excited when they heard about the EG training house and were expecting you guys to improve, with better practice conditions, to the level of the Koreans. Sadly that hasn't happened and Idra is in the slump of a lifetime.
I will say TB and nobody in that reddit post has mentioned Demuslim at all and I think he's shown a lot of improvement since moving in.
tl;dr TB wants to see you guys succeed. There are legions of people who drew their own conclusions from his words, blowing it out of proportion. Just do better in future.

@condor hero : during the show we say as much. TB was dead on when he said people expect that from us and we aren't living up to it.. we encourage that pressure and deserve it/want it.
@TB : pretty fucking manner of you sir.. ty for that. Sorry for being a bit harsh on the show as per my usual (bad) antics.. you have impressed me and I tried to give you a lot of love on the show as well, hopefully that amounts to something.
ALL IS WELL <3

TB and Inky...Class Acts.
If people were more willing to accept where they were in the right and wrong...on both sides...world would be a better place.
Cheers to both of ya.
It's kind of murky territory when you're essentially trying to express the idea 'This is the best enviornment for foreign players' at the same time you're trying to say its insufficient. You end up kind of looking like you're attacking the best for being the best but not good enough. Always comes out muddled and unfortunately clouds a point.

props to you sir...sucks about the 20min cutoff, when it comes I'll probably be midpump and get so flustered that I drop the bar

Interesting when the shoe is on the other foot isn't it geoff, because you do the above quite often yourself with no remorse. -_- it is a bit silly for people to think they know what goes on in a team house if they aren't in it (in general) but people expect a lot from you guys that are in team houses ;d

Shouldn't have done that. What the linked image shows and what you implied with your post are complete opposites, and my sides hurt from laughing.

I agree with TB completely. The EG house is not a training house, period. The US scene is largely a joke, especially on the major teams like EG and TL. They can't compete with the top Europeans, who actually put in the work. Even some who don't (Stephano, Mana) are still dominating them.

Maybe you should read the post where he apolagizes for phrasing what he said poorly and talking with limited information, because you just did the same.

Eh, I don't have to make nice with teams like he does. EG's house hasn't produced any results, period. They're certainly practicing, but I have seen no evidence to suggest they have any goal or specific training regime. Bringing in Puma to practice with the gang for a week before MLG doesn't cut it.
And the rest of the US scene sucks too.
