I stand by what I said on the show. I've enjoyed the improvement in your casting and I am really pleased you've solved your personal issues with visas and what-not so you can be with your family, all power to you. However, you really do not have a good track record for taking criticism, so dishing it out on a subject which you clearly have no first hand experience is just irritating to see. Total hypocrisy.

As for the sentiment you expressed on Real Talk, yep... Well said. KR is still leading the way and its something that I hope can change over time. You took it too far by calling out one specific team and just making up stuff to say about it which just off the mark. The guy you quoted above said it exactly right.

Sorry for being a tad aggressive when I called in, I did mean what I said and hope you can take the constructive points from it, but I did feel bad for setting a poor tone at the start of the call-ins.

i think totalbiscuits point was complitely got wrong. he didn't say that they don't play in eg lair he said that the training must not be effective. like idra said that he has streamed like 50+ hours after mlg so is that really good practice, ofc he said he practices when hes not streaming but would that time spent on streaming ladder be more effective if it was spent practicing something he has though time vs.

OTT ? Considering what your statements implied about them and how they go about themselves as professionals, the only one OTT here was you. If I was IdrA or iNcontroL I would go absolutely bananas over such an insulting statement. They handled it a lot better though

Just like Geoff said, there was definitely truth in parts of TB's statement, however, it was just extremely wrong for him to question the professionalism of the staff and players in Evil Geniuses. It wasn't his place to do so, especially considering he is uneducated as to exactly how the players at the EG Lair use their time.

Geoff and Greg handled it pretty well from what I saw. For TB to state that they were "OTT" is laughable. They only stated what I did above, saying that it wasn't TB's place to question the running of the EG Lair, especially considering he is uneducated as to how it is currently run. If anyone was "OTT", it was TB for actually insulting the professionalism of the progamers and staff that reside at the house.

Good show overall though, like I said in an earlier post. Thanks Wheat and co!

And this is the entire point isn't it, that word "implied". It's not what I ACTUALLY said that upset anyone, no it's what they decided to read into it, which was a pretty dumb thing to do. The shit I've gotten from EG fanbois as a result of ITG indicated that not a SINGLE ONE of them had actually listened to the Real Talk episode or even understood the point I was trying to make.

So yes, OTT, from everyone concerned. Would hardly be the first time. This is why we can't have nice things, why even get to the real meat of the matter when we can just get all upset and fling insults around aye? It's easier than actually tackling the problems the foreigner scene currently has.

About the whole EG house not as effective for training purposes....

EG has it right, and is getting huge sponsorships all over the place, where as the korean house which is just 'practice' are failing due to getting no sponsors. I'd rather have a mediocre practice schedule with security then busting my balls 12 hours a day with no security.

The security is probably what draws koreans to western teams
