I let people voice their opinion all the time... but if you're going to try to derail the show, I'm not going to show respect to those individuals. What Kevin did was basically this, "Hey I wanna ask if you like the really sweet and wonderful Coke that tastes so refreshing or good, or do you like that shitty tasting horse cock soda Pepsi?" So if we say Pepsi, or Both, we're automatically wrong. That's horse shit. Don't call up and do that. If you have an opinion just give it, but don't try to cover it up with dumb questions and offensive discussion. Hey if you bother to post on TL, maybe you can update the thread's OP with proper links and stuff. Just saying.

I would rather have good try hard people, trying to make a question (the first guy wasn't the only one that was nervous in the rest of the calls). Than idiotic trolls that just play music. People who actually try and love the show are better than there to just troll :D. Dont be too hard on those who 'fail' at asking a question. Not all of us are used to public speaking and know when we botch our shit.

I'll preface by saying that the argument I'm making as the premise isn't one I would support myself. But it is something that is prevalent and needs to be discussed by community leaders to have the full range of the phenomenon discussed. The argument is that Code S demonstrates that Protoss is OP. Why is this argument made? Because in Code S, the percentage of P, T, and Z has been stable from round 32 to 16 and 16 to 8. And the percentages aren't favourable to Zerg, and are very much in favour of P. The actual percentages are: 7/10 P advanced from R32 to 16 = 70% 7/15 T advanced from R32 to 16 = 47% 2/7 Z advanced from R 32 to 16 = 29% These percentages were replicated in Round of 16. 5/7 P advanced from R32 to 16 = 71% 3/7 T advanced from R32 to 16 = 43% 0/2 Z advanced from R 32 to 16 = 0% Note, that even though there are no Z in the round of 8, a <30% advancement percentage predicts that no Z make it to round of 8. I'll once again remind you that even though I recounted the argument I've heard (which is admittedly mathematically neat), I think it's limited data. Yet, people are using these figures and their own intuitions about the MU to purport imbalance. I would appreciate to receive a community leader perspective on the current situation. Btw, big fan of ITG.

It's polluting discussion, and we need community leaders to give a clearer picture.

I can't remember exactly what his point, something along the lines of why should we be happy about 8th place with some talk about demuslim, but i remember that I thought his point kinda made sense. But ya wheat just kicked him off the call and rant -_-. The phone lines are filled with people who are only seeking validation for their idiotic ideas. There are the people that try to pass on their bad strategy advice and won't accept a rejection from players that are better than them (whatever you may think of PainUser and inControl, they're still better than every single caller). There are the people that want to do a "destroying eSports" rant, and just want the four hosts to be their yes-men. Even worse are the people that want to do a 10 minute rant about absolutely nothing sensible, and get pissed when no one understands them and they get shot down. There is no call screening. DJWheat is the screener. If you're not looking for an answer, don't call in. It's that simple. ItG is not a place for Joe-Schmoe to get his 15 seconds of fame. Ask a question, be happy with whatever answer you get. GoatLust is consistently a good caller because he always asks a question. Whether you like the question or not, he always goes out of his way to generate some sort of conversation from the hosts.

It was very hard to watch when a caller asked a legit question and they are too distracted from the game to even answer the question.. It's very rude and disruptive. Huh? They were pretty clear about what they were doing from the start and the callers were certainly watching. If a caller's going to ask a question that requires a thoughtful answer, I'd say this wouldn't have been the show in which to do it.

eight months! (31.03.1998 - 30.11.1998) Thank god we finally have a time frame at least for the HotS beta, but I have to say, 2+ years is kinda ridiculous.

There was nowhere near as strong tournament scene in 98 though. If blizzard fuck up the balance it will affect alot of tournaments and players whos career survives on blizzard making a balanced game, but it is annoying how little we hear about it ![]() Does anyone know where I can watch the latest episodes? I checked out the site onemoregame but it's stating that the latest game is from early march same with blip.tv

I've been posting mp3s for a couple of months now. See http://itg-audio.blogspot.com for what I still have. You'll have to use the torrents for everything other than the latest episode since my free soundcloud account can only host one episode at a time.
