Wow so much roach/ling/baneling action....

It's quite interesting but am I the only one to notice that it's kind of...doesn't really address any needs for Z's matchups? All of this stuff gets shut down by forcefield...

Still very interested to see what actually does get implemented and how things work out.

Seing how you unlock units as time goes by, im sure this is just a preview of the first missions.

Post-humous mitosis: 20% chance to spawn 2 broodlings on death of a zergling.

Also, what are those jumping things at about 25 seconds into the Gametrailer preview? A new unit?

The folks over at http://reddit.com/r/starcraft were invited to the Blizzard press event, and asked http://wellplayed.org to provide their production expertise. The collaboration includes videos, question and answers at a panel, and a gallery of photos.

They are upgraded Lings that get a charge upgrade. Hmmm 3 lings per egg or leaping lings?

watched the design team interview - my first thought? we would be lucky to see HotS shipped in late 2012 Q_Q there will be a beta for hots mp lol

so far there is nothing revealed get me excited since they really didnt release much anyway. hope the story will be cool
is 2017, stop being lame, fuck's sakes. 'Can't wait for the rise of the cakes and humanity's last stand tbqh.'

I hate games that make you pay additional money after the initial purchase for "extra" content, I hope blizzard is not going down that path...

And would anyone actually pay for user generated content?

Oh man that's awesome. That roundtable was amazing. They even brought up Idra's argument about lack of scouting! I'm so happy to see blizzard more connected with their audience.

game looks like it is going to be good i really do hope they take the overseer out of the game and give back the sight ability back to regular ovs.
if your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest.

I don't really like having it so I can't lose the game because I was careless and let Kerrigan die :/ I feel like it would be better, at least on hard/brutal, if they made it so that you couldn't just throw her away... yes, she should be used aggressively, but you should also need to use the swarm to protect her else what point is there to having a swarm in the first place?

From some of the gameplay videos, the dialogue of Kerrigan shows her to be just as ruthless as before.. even though she's (mostly, I think) human now, she seems to have retained some of her ruthlessness.

And now who is who's enemy? Everyone wants to kill Kerrigan, while Kerrigan wants to defeat...? how do Xel' Naga fall into this picture? Ahhhh so excited.

EDIT: Some more thoughts (spoilered for the one person on TL who didn't finish the campaign) + Show Spoiler +
I just recalled that right before you win in the last level of the campaign, Kerrigan's voice says "Don't give up". This would mean that her human side is completely against the Queen of Blades..but that contradicts how ruthless she seems in some of the gameplay videos where she says stuff like "No one leaves alive, no one." or something along those lines. So confusing.
