I can't bear commentators saying "oh what a bad mistake" or "that was totally wrong, why would he do that ?"
I mean both of Incontrol and Gretorp aren't either good player or commentators. Stop saying people are bad. First because you don't actually prove to be better, and second because it's PAINFUL to hear. And also because there is no follow up to such a sentence. Your voice plumit, long silence until the gg comes. Stop, really stop pointing out mistakes. It's not fun to watch.
Edit : forgot the "This is the worst response pain user could do... that's it... that's gg" spoiling the whole pleasure watching a great move with wrong and useless comments. And then the game goes on and painuser wins 2 mins later. Commentators are supposed to be a little better at talking than annoying people talking in movie theaters.

The only problem i have is the lag issues, I don't know if its NASL's part or Justin TV but it really need to get fix. I also want to suggest better music choice on intervals but that's the least worries.

infact even on sotg incontrol has said a couple times(when tyler was saying how he liked having replays so he could speed up the replay) that they were not going to release replays due to piracy.

It's clear the nasl is improving every day. I'm actually really impressed by how fast it's improving and how much all of them care about improvement.

Not going to search for it, but I believe they said the replays would be released after the season was complete.

Steal the editing team from IGN and this is the best league in the world, no joke.

A lot of times they will make an assumption like "i dont think he can hold this!" and then 2 seconds later... oh wait i guess i was wrong. And then in that same match they will commentate something like "i like this play i really like this play" and then 2 seconds later they say "oh wait... this isn't good." another comment i like was in moonglade vs nada where the casters were saying something along the lines of "he doesnt have upgrades which could really hurt him!" and then 2 seconds later "oh wait what am i saying he has 1/1 upgrades." It seems as if every comment that is made is incorrect and all you hear is "wait i was wrong" or "doesn't look like he is doing what i just said" and it REALLY throws off the pace of the game. This is such a big issue, and it really makes the casters look bad when I catch major things literally minutes before the casters do. For instance, I was tuned into what I think was a ZvT last week. The Zerg player put down a Baneling nest at the ordinary timing, and researched Centrifugal Hooks relatively early. It was notable. Several minutes later, as terran moved out, Gretorp said something along the lines of "he really needs to get a baneling nest," when it had been sitting in ther Zerg player's natural expansion the entire time. And I'm going to assume that neither caster was following the game, because they both were surprised to discover the baneling nest!
I watch casually, and when I'd say that the only times I cannot tell who will emerge the victor from a major battle is in GSL where the players are elite and are almost always walking on a razor's edge. It's absurd how frequently the NASL casters misjudge the advantage just prior to a battle.
It's just plain bad, and I'd even take djWheat's porn star "oh my god! oh my god!" casting over this --- and that's saying a lot!

You are either a player or a caster, not both. It's OK to invite a player to cast once in a while but not let them be part of the regular casting crew. Why? because fact of the matter is you would be doing one of two things half-assed, either you start loosing games as a player or start sucking at casting, you need to prepare for both activities. In my opinion iNcontrol is just "winging it" as a caster and it really shows, it's very unprofessional in my opinion. If you take a look at really professional casters for any sport (ex. football, soccer, basketball, etc.) you won't see any active players/athletes be part of any casting crew as regulars, they have to focus as players, it's common sense, as a matter of fact many professional casters kind suck at playing the game they cast, mostly because they are old but also because they focus on analysis, they watch more games than they practice (ex. Artosis) therefore they can analyze easier on the fly but have problems in the execution. Geoff is a professional player and should not cast regularly, Gretorp is semi-pro so he should to decide whether he wants to be a caster or a player. That's my humble opinion.

It'san overall great league with some needed adjustment. Obviously the stability of the stream has been an issue. Other than that it's hard to find critical areas where improvements has to be done. Maybe the aoustics of the studio or different microphones to make it sound more "studio-like".
Maybe you guys could invite a special guests now and then. A pro gamer (not that the existing casters are lacking in knowledge) that could give an alternative view of the technical aspects of the game.
Overall NASL is a wonderful league and a great initiative and I hope you guys the best.

Oh, and the EG bias is just unbearable. I don't care how many dates Incontrol has been on with Machine or whatever, it is no excuse for caster bias. Artosis seemingly hangs out with IdrA all the time, and I never could even detect that seed of bias when he covered IdrA games in the GSL. I think that EG bias is the thing most detracting from the tournament's professionalism...and don't even get me started on their manner of casting Incontrol's games!

But if anybody is going to take this tournament, your team, and your casting seriously, you really need to make it seem like your participation with that team is incidental. And I'd say it's even more important that you get your co-hosts to cast your own games as though they were any other guy's.

I don't really get what you're trying to accomplish anymore. You hype up NASL like its going to be completely amazing with phenomenal execution, how its going to rival GSL, etc. Someone points out a bias in your commentating then just you try to be funny and brush it off with a silly comment. How about you actually man-up for once and act like a gorilla as opposed to a silly carebear and address these concerns seriously.
I've lost interest in NASL given the past performance. The amount of sheer ego you guys have is astounding. You may think you are on-top of the world, but remember how you got there.

Oh right and that mancrush they have on Clide didn't happen either.

Oh right and that mancrush they have on Clide didn't happen either. A "mancrush" is one thing. But the sort of bias I am indicating would only be possible in Tastosis' GSL casts if either (a) half of the archon were a participant in the specific tournament they were covering, or (b) sixjax players began to compete in GSL. I don't expect (a) to happen. (b) is a possibility given dde's fantastic skill and development; we will see.
