Sure you do. In a one versus one environment, calling person A bad is exactly the same thing as calling person B good. They aren't comparing every single person playing Starcraft 2 in the known universe to July and MC, they are just comparing July to MC. And as seen by what the the pros have said, in this matchup, July versus MC, July is bad (which is exactly the same as 'MC is good').

But some players do not bother to give out an educated opinion. Some of the opinions by pros is rather disappointing by saying that a certain player is granted the GSL 1st place not because of his skill or anything, he was just playing a superior race and lucky as a result. They have a voice not because of contributing excellent strategies to TL, but because of their performance in tournaments.
They don't have to have an educated opinion. If PainUser or someone was asked and they're a huge July fanboy, they're perfectly justified in saying "I don't like MC, July will win" Don't shit on the player who's giving the opinion, disagree with the opinion. Is it really so hard to say something like
"I don't know, MC was pretty good in S3, and he's been playing pretty well, and ZvP is July's matchup, go MC!"
rather than
"fuck IdrA, he's so obnoxious!"
If he comes on the boards and reads that, do you think he's going to want to do something like this again? No, there's no reason to if all that's going to happen is people yelling at him that he's a douchebag.

I wouldn't put too much into these predictions anyway, pros generally spend much more time playing than watching.

All this balance whining is a joke. I love how it switches from TvP impossible to ZvT impossible to XvP impossible, because protoss has found out proper build orders to take advantage of the standard timings of other races. I've seen ling/baneling/corruptor into ultra wreck protoss and completely deny any third while the zerg macros up and goes ultras. Oh noez standard roach play is countered by three gate sentry expand, better do the same build the protoss build is meant to directly take advantage of over and over and whine a race that, before build orders were figured out was supposedly underpowered, is now OP. I remember when ogmsc won the GSL when everyone thought protoss wasn't OP, but now he's going to win again solely based on being protoss? Right.

I want July to win so people can shut up about balance for once. But instead they will probably attribute it to MC playing bad or something else if a Zerg wins instead of the players skill.
Don't understand the July hate, they must have not watched the games. Can't wait for them to get owned in the NASL by July if he gets to play.

Apparently he's not the best TvPer in the world then, huh? I've seen other terrans crush those two, and IMMVP hardly played perfectly. Maybe if every execution was flawless that would be close to a valid argument, but IMMVP made stupid errors.
