Who is talking about extended series?
Simply double elim tournaments aka winner of the winner bracket has not used his right to lose yet, hence ''double elim''.
What is the point of this post? You know that I know the format. You don't provide any defense of the format. You don't understand the connection to extended series. You contribute absolutely nothing. If you don't understand something, don't participate in a discussion about it.
So your comment was in the wrong topic.
Nothing wrong with the double elim tournament system, infact any other way would make no sense.
Do you feel the wind when things pass that quickly over your head?
There is no comparison between the 2, it's 2 complete different subjects.
This was an absolutely amazing video. The quality was incredible and actually seeing those events after hearing about them from the Daily #100 way back was so crazy. I'm glad Artosis managed to watch and enjoy it too though.

On second thought I'll save my ban for a future post. > I will say extended series is the dumbest rule ever though and each series should be treated in isolation. And no I'm not the same person as technique. Just don't like tyler's bm towards him.
keep discussing extended series to make tyler go insane
the advantage of winning earlier in the tourny is you kept your "second chance" for your next game, not that you get to start 3-2 up against the person next time you play.
Review: The history, the nostalgia, and the gravity all impressed me but not as much as the pure unadulterated emotions exhibited by Artosis, and the Plott brothers. Having a brother myself, who is far and away my best friend ever, it was magical for me to see such a loving and supportive connection between Sean and Nick.
Artosis is the quintessential form form of what all expressions and claims of loving Starcraft should be measured against. You can feel the tension in his voice when he graciously concedes defeat to Day9 and reinforces his own vigor to do better next time. Dan, Sean, and Nick are pillars of this Community. Thank you.

WCG Footage Intercut with Day 9 Daily #100:
There are also a few clips from the official WCG videos added for spice
Obviously this is not meant as a replacement or improvement on the original video, which is basically flawless and immaculately edited. Instead it's just sort of a neat experiment. Hopefully the original creators are cool with it, if not I'll take it down.
Review of Day9's response in the DND#100: Once again, it is personally touching to me to see such love between brothers. For one who loves his brother more than anything I always find it hard to believe when I meet families that are not close, or siblings who do take advantage of the potential of what brotherhood really is.
These videos are real. You are seeing real emotion, and it's beautiful.

No but seriously, he said a few times that he's taken voice lessons so that it doesn't ruin his voice, since its obviously important for his current as well as future jobs. He needs to protect it so he talks with a different tone, but it was definitely noticeable during the first gsl, how much deeper his voice has gotten.
Tasteless' voices has gotten so much deeper over the past few years. This is friggin cool. I'm really new to the SC scene so I only know Day9, Tasteless and Artosis as they are today, pillars of the SC community, not as players building their reputations. Thanks for the time capsule.
Wow man great video. Watching those hydras and guardians clean up those tanks really makes me miss the Zerg of BW. Then when the Terran theme kicked in at the end I was just overwhelmed with nostalgia and shed a few tears.
