I think it is tasteless, but that is just my opinion.

Btw, is it just me or is it that tournaments and such were not as much organized in 2005 as they are now?

Watching Artosis after that loss reel it all in was gutwrenching. I got into Starcraft in 08, and formed some opinions about the guy back then. Seeing this gives those opinions some humbling perspective. It's a tear jerker for sure.

Big thanks to these three guys, and everyone else who's helped make Starcraft what it is outside of Korea. It has clearly taken a lot dedication, a lot of blood sweat and tears, to keep this game alive and well.

Thanks for releasing this, it's inspiring and truly awesome. I'm pretty upset I didn't join the Starcraft community sooner to experience things like this. :/ I love how Day 9 and Tasteless aren't scared to show their love and support for each other in front of other nerds, that kind of support goes a long way in a competitive environment.

I didn't read through 46 pages of posts but I am sure this has been mentioned at least 20 times, but that video inspired a whole spectrum of emotions and was just incredible. I was very active in the Counter-Strike community back then after quitting Starcraft in the early 2000s so when I was following WCG back then it was for the Counter-Srike not Starcraft, but now I am back into Starcraft. That video really brought visualizations to Day9 daily #100, which makes the story told in #100 even more incredible.

I'm going to go back and watch Day9 ep. 100 again right now, just for some perspective. Considering this is the point where Sean started to lose it (talking about eliminating his brother), I'd be interesting to see it again now that there's some actual footage from the event floating around.

And this is why I have nothing but respect for the Plott brothers and Artosis. Sure, I give them shit here and there (and yes, I'll stand by my statement that Day9 isn't nearly as good or qualified to talk about SC2 as some people believe), but these men exude skill, professionalism, and passion and honestly, there aren't any other people I'd rather have as the public faces of SC2.

I really want them to return as players though -- that would be fucking amazing.

You're not qualified enough to say who is qualified or not to talk about starcraft1/2.

According to previous posts in this thread, NonY played at the Texas qualifiers for the WCG US Finals, but he lost to Tasteless in what was regarded as a rather questionable set of matches.
