It cements his Starcraft geek cred. No one gets that depressed unless they really care about the game. He has graduated from Artosis "The Starcraft Wiki" to Artannica the Starcraft Encyclopedia.
Thanks for sharing this. Amazing to watch, gave me some serious nostalgia nerdchills. Artosis after the loss was pretty heartbreaking. Very happy everything worked out for all three of them.
Yes, I watch ALL the Dailies and ALL the GOM shows. I am proud, proud, proud. Ok. Back to lurking quietly...
(ps total disclosure...also love watching Wheat and JP!)
The love within your family glows within day and tasteless, and you should really be proud of what you were able to accomplish. It really gives myself goals for when I grow older and have my own kids.
Also, If my relationship with my brother was even just half as good as the one between Day and Tasteless then I would feel very accomplished. I feel like a lot of the situations between them can be found in my own relationship with my brother. Except that our age is 6 years apart. So instead of enjoying everything together, I make sure to give my brother the opportunities I never had (even though they aren't as popular as they once were).
This includes me driving him to SC2 lans, and building him amazingly good computers to play video games (I brought him up to love Counter-Strike 1.6 and StarCraft ). And now he is better than me in most games we play , but i wouldn't change that connection for anything in the world.
In the end, kudos to everyone with close families. I wish my parents were as understandings as you, but overall I hope everyone can use these experiences as a way to learn. Hopefully the next generation of parents will be just as supporting as you
