This video is just amazing. I mean i knew Artosis was passionate about starcraft but i never knew he was THAT passionate (i mean quitting your job every year before wcg to practice ... really?)
And Ms LaForge posting in here would have just turned this into an instant classic if it hadn't been already just because of the vid.
PS: Is that picture she posted posted in the "Tasteless this is your mother"-thread still arround somewhere on TL? Because unfortunately it doesnt load in that old thread anymore

God this thread is epic. Awesome to see where everything started to really take off.

When SC3 comes out, this video is going to be like the Dead Sea Scrolls.
|
Excellent. It's been edited together masterfully, and provides some very interesting insight into the later broodwar years.

I believe Tasteless' casting career starts in the video, at about 5:04.

This is awesome, what a gem
|
God damn tasteless looks like a young Travolta.
Edit:
1. SC 1 Music is epic 2. Artosis looked soooo sad losing
|
Awesome, would love to see more vids from the past. Gives an entirely new depth to these guys, getting a glimpse of what they've been through.
Also, Artosis needs a big hug.
|
Wow this is amazing, really ties in well with Sean's explanation of it in his 100th daily. It almost compliments it actually. Great great movie!
|
05:05 Tasteless and the rest is history...
|
Made me all teary eyed seeing this. So much emotions and so much passion. And still amazes me that Sean and Nicks mom is posting here. All that aside, even if you weren't a part of this back in the days, still feels amzing seeing it.

Mick motherfuckin' Foley.
Awesome video. For someone who knows very little about the BW scene at all, it's great to see this.
|
Awesome to see the exact moment Tasteless' casting career becomes a reality and to simultaneously be watching him now cast GSL in literally the highest SC2 casting position possible.
|
That was so awesome!! Nice work

Its not everyday we as a community get to see the exact moment in history that would change someones life forever. This is truely something epic and I feel privileged to have been able to watch this.
Thank you, and thank you Day9,Artosis and Tasteless for everything you have done and will continue to do for the Starcraft community.
^ This. I didn't actually catch on to what Tasteless said at this point in the video when I watched it. Thinking about it, it's really, really moving that we got to witness this.
History in the making, right there.
*edit*
Btw, was that what happened? Did Nick go on to cast in Singapore?
|
Thinking about day9 #100 whilst watching this, seeing the brotherly bond (that I see in myself and my brother aswell) is really really moving. If I wasn't watching this at work I would feel the urge to bottle up these emotions , cant show weakness at the workplace!
Thanks for the wonderful video. I'm really greatful.

Wow, thanks man. What a nice VOD. Thanks sooo much. My eyes are shimmering.
|
watching this video kinda makes me feel abit sad that none of them are competing anymore...
