Congratulations.
I see this more as a marketing move, but that's only because I'm unfamiliar with Destiny.

Hope to see more and more of you competitively and on the streams.

Cheers.

It would be really cool if destiny could pull in a few more sponsors. I mean an average of 1k viewers while he is just laddering is nothing to scoff at.

in case you were wondering there were approximately 1950 people watching you get stomped on destinys stream

I really don't care how many people were watching, nor do I care that I lost. It makes little difference to me what you or those other 1949 people think. I do, however, care that I wasn't able to play a good game against him.
In spite of that, Destiny's gotten a lot better since we last played and it was pretty apparent when playing him, so congrats. Also, if he actually quit his job to do SC2 24/7, then props to him.

Standard recruiting. Grats to Destiny! Hopefully see you at NASL?

Joining root probably will reduce his chances of getting into NASL no?

But good luck destiny. Hope he will follow mini's footstep and establish himself in the competitive scene.

They took ut the 5 player cap rule.

destiny is a beast and for sure, he is going to be an upcoming competitor, now that he is on ROOT he has to be motivated to become the best player he can be. been watching his stream, what an intelligent fellow and entertainer. he even cares for his viewers, i hope he becomes one of the best zerg players out there

Destiny is a good player but I haven't seen much pure amazing from him yet. Then again, the change in Minigun since joining ROOT is huge as he went from being damn good to being amazing. I feel that now that he's in team ROOT Destiny will really grow and blossom as a SC2 player and we will see some great stuff from him.

That's to be expected from a mod. Pity it took so long.

haha he didnt completely take the high road. he implied that if he was playing at his best, he would have probably beaten steven.

How dare he want to win games online against his opponent. He should have realized the glory that is Destiny and just left the game 3 seconds in instead of playing it all the way through.

I didn't imply that at all. He played well and he deserved the win. Enough said.

My views on this is that I just expected ROOT to be a very top skill level team. I personally know quite a few zerg and protoss players who could be better choices for a team like ROOT than Destiny was. I think there was a popularity/fan factor here to had to play in the decision of adding him into the team.

Very good pickup from ROOT. I saw it coming, with his bfffffff's with Chad and games with CatZ sometimes.
Without bothering to not sound like a kiss ass, Destiny is a good player already and practice with the likes of CatZ, qxc, drewbie and minigun just to name a few, Destiny will start roflstomping harder. ROOT goes further away from the competition in the likes of my favourite team :D

AHAHAHahahahaha I just saw this live, this is why I watch Steven's stream.
Great play, great entertainment.

It was just one of those Steven Bonnell moments ("the bronnell factor"). I mean what are the odds..yet it was a good/high level game with a little tiny bit of bm (but nothing serious, just for fun). Just the way a game/community should be. I for one was greatly entertaint and almost woke my neighbours up (by laughing too loud at 3 a.m.)
