CONGRATS!!! been watching him since the beta this i awesome! I've always thought he could be good enough if he actually... like... watched his own replays and tried new strategies. It's been awesome watching him do that in the past couple of months and its sooo cool to see that it's paying off. also, he's not that BM lately! he just talks shit while he plays but a lot of people do that, just not usually while streaming.

I really hope he still streams though..

clearly, not only have you not read the interviews, but also you didn't read my post, and also you never followed ROOT. I can't stand people who blindly comment and talk as if they knew it all...

So please... tell me some of ROOT's players acomplishments before they joined ROOT... see if you can come up with... 1 maybe per player. This is not to say we're not players, it means we're also more than that and if you were someone who needed to talk to the team, that we are the point of contact, as opposed to any other player. I am the highest rated ROOT player on the ladder for what that's worth, and I do quite well vs other teammates in practice games.

either way, I don't ask you to like this descision, and I wont say i don't care if the community doesn't like it, obviously what this game is, we all owe to the community. But if your initial reaction is against, please take a time to read the reasoning behind this in the interview or previous posts, and if you have the time go watch Steven's stream some, i guarantee the more you watch, the more you'll realize he's a great guy.

I love the prejudging on this thread. Destiny is one of the best zergs out there and has been practicing pretty hard lately and has shown a pretty big commitment to the game. It would be stupid for Root not to take him in and help him and others improve.

I'll be honest, I enjoyed Destiny's stream more before he got a ton of fans, he was more laid back and always made fun of something or someone during his matches, which was more entertaining to me than mostly lessons or serious practice like it is now. Though best of luck to him, he has definitely gotten a lot better and is a very smart player.

Congrats to Destiny it's cool to see people get the chance to prove themselves and climb the rung. Everyone has to start somewhere. Pretty cool of Root to give players that need an extra boost a chance.

Destiny should focus on improving his games more. I mean fans are great, and streaming is good and all but at the end of the day, winning games are far more important for his success in the long run. I foresee Destiny participating in a lot of tournaments in the upcoming dates, and lets hope he can get some good practice with Root members. [ROOTminigun in particular and dde... i think he lost like 10 in a row T_T, i was hopeless after watching his stream]

Destiny is infamous for his rage videos, but as far as I can tell he is really dedicated to getting better. He really likes to talk theory and does so quite well. I see him bounce ideas off other pros on his stream and constantly tries to figure out ways to improve his game. I think it's a great pick up for Root.

Congrats to both ROOT and Destiny. I see this as a great move on both sides and I hope to see even more great things from both team and player in the future.

Fans that ROOT may have "lost" because of this are fans that aren't worth having.
