Clanwars to determine best teams, best teams get to send best player. The point is that their biased.

What happens if i.e Idra or Jinro drop down to A class. Will they take up one of the 4 spots?

I'd say base it on who is actually winning. I don't see how people can honestly make a case that HayPro is a top foreigner at this point.
To that end:
Fenix QXC Huk (basing this more on past accomplishments and current rank on KR) Select
Probably a bit NA biased simply because I don't keep up with the EU scene as much. I'd really like to see how Fenix would do in the GSL because dude does nothing but win tournaments.

So what do you base it on, other than liking them and/or them being EG? Of course it should be based on major live events. Incontrol ended 13, 17 and 15th in all 3 MLGs. Lzgamer was even worse. I wish people would take this more seriously. =/ Incontrol was a game away from qualifying for GSL3...

Kiwikaki has been one of the most consistent players during 2010 and he even had the confidence to fly to Korea for GSL3, just to get knocked out one game away from qualifying. The same applies for Incontrol as well, although his tournament results have been unimpressive.
From the European scene, I would definitely like to see BratOK as well - in case his visa problems can get sorted. And, of course, DeMuslim, Dimaga and WhiteRa.

I personally think mouz.Mana should get invited. He showed great results lately.

1. HuK 2. Haypro 3. qxc 4. DeMusliM
Since they are either already in korea or motivated to do so (if I remember correctly).
Maybe Machine and Brat_Ok too, its really hard to choose.

huk, haypro, sjow, DuckloadRa (that always makes me smile^^ ),DeMusliM, Dimaga

Hell, even Day9 doesn't deserve PLAYING in something like this to be honest, however good these are, they haven't done/qualified for any tournament (finals), haven't been up that high in any ladder so far.
Imho Huk should get a chance, obviously, the rest I don't really care about(don't consider anyone that high level who hasn't been in a GSL before.)
EDIT: Maybe Fenix though?

having this discussion without a list of playes who'd be willing to go is completly pointless btw.

Maybe an easier way to solve it would be picking the 4 strongest teams and giving them each an invite slot they can assign themselves?
They're probably better at deciding who's most fit for competing in the GSL.

+1
They should first find out who of the top players want to go or its pointless.

I would love to see any of these guys playing Huk, Incontrol, Artosis, Haypro

OMG, completely forgot about PainUser. It would be crazy to see him there.
