Definitely HuK and HayprO. HuK has been practicing hard and I want to see how much he has improved. For HayprO I want to see how good he is, because we haven't really seen many games from him.

Naama (won Dreamhack and beat one of the koreans there, TOP, I think)
Huk or Haypro
Sjow or Select
and then an EG guy (Incontrol, Machine, Lz, ... and now even Demuslim, would all def be good picks imo)

That way, most top foreign teams have an invitee.

It feels a bit counter-intuitive to invite people that already qualified once (like artosis or torch), I would much rather they got entirely new people to compete. That would give me excitement.

So what do you base it on, other than liking them and/or them being EG? Of course it should be based on major live events.

Incontrol ended 13, 17 and 15th in all 3 MLGs. Lzgamer was even worse.

I wish people would take this more seriously. =/

Nice to see some rational thought, i really dont see where this random EG fanboyism is coming from

huk: obvious one, already there. awsome player.

madfrog: cuz he's the onlyone who can win with 6lings vs 12 lings 9/10 times ))

Read my post right above that one. I think that all the major teams should be given a vote based on a clanwar or something similar. For example: EG, Liquid, Mouz, and ROOT. The only issue with this is players like White-ra and LZgamer wouldn't have a chance. Which is why maybe 3 of the 4 should be chosen through a clanwar where the team gets to choose who they want to send, they certainly have a better idea than we do of who is qualified, willing, and able to go. And then have some kind of clear criteria for the last invite for people without a team to have a chance.

And in response to your post there have not been and are not enough live, foreigner only events to really base an invite only on that.

EDIT: also many players seem to have been itching for some clanwars, would be very fun for the community and the players.

well we can name whoever we want as long as they wont go there, so obviously my picks are Huk and Haypro other then that i m realy unsure who would go out there, maybe Sjow and Incnontrol but all the very good gamers that come to mind said they dont want to go there
also lol for those who would send Select or Moon as foreigner or Grubby who's yet to attend an sc2 cup or tournament

what about fnatic and dignitas which contain arguably better players than eg and root(excluding idra who is already in korea)?

Those were potential examples of winning teams, hence the clanwars, to determine the teams that get the votes.

There really needs to be a tournament for the A-spot otherwise this ends up as an popularity contest where actual performances play no role.

lol @ letting specific clans decide who is "most deserving", I certainly dont think they will have any bias towards their own people...... surely not.....
