I don't think there is anybody apart from HuK who really stands out.

Definately Huk and HayprO. Huk is such a beast. I feel HayprO has a lot of potential and will prove my vote for him manyfolds given the oppurtunity.
Other picks I consider 'worthy' are of course SjoW, MaNa, Brat_OK and Kiwikaki.
really?

I think people are basing it based on how he did in the season 3 qualifier.

That's highly irrelevant due to the randomness of the qualifier brackets.

He was present at MLGs, he went completely unnoticed. If you want to send Incontrol, then what's your argument against sending PainUser, for example? Or Torch, who actually did qualify, or Artosis for that matter? Why should Incontrol go before any of them (and a huge number of other successful / semi-successful players)?

The only real reason people vote for Incontrol is his presence in the community / State of the Game. We may as well send Day9 then, it's not like a skill gap between them is that big if he actually practiced. It just makes no sense.

I really think GOM should decide this one entirely for themselves without listening to the crowd. Given everything that was written in the last few pages, I dread any sort of public vote unless it's on a poll where somebody (TL/GOM) already filtered out the players who would only get popularity votes (in particular Incontrol, Moonglade and Naniwa).

Wow it amazes me that so few are mentioning Haypr0. He is definitly one of the best foreigners and I really think he do deservs this spot more then most people metioned in this post.

The second spot I think should go to HuK, he has been practising hard and eventhough im not the biggest fan of his playstyle he should definitely qualify for this.

As for third and fourth spot I think it should go to the highest ranked foreigners who have the opportunity to be in korea, I believe all of them are mentioned in the thread, SjoW, DuckloadRa, qxc, Dimaga, to mention just a few who could actually qualify fpr code S. Just purely looking at playstyle I think SjoW would do best of these since his builds are really solid and his tactical play is unmatched in europe atm.

Definitely Huk and qxc.Tyler, but I doubt he is able. DeMuslim, especially since joining EG, with the upcoming team house. White-ra and Dimaga are also good choices. Select, if he's considered a foreigner.
So I think my 4 choices (excluding Tyler because I doubt he'd accept) are Huk, qxc, DeMuslim, and White-Ra or Dimaga.

And I know it's a long shot, but I love Mana.

I actually think a great idea would to be to have the teams decide, EG, Liquid, ROOT, and MouZ all get a vote or something, I think that would be great. Unfortunately it leaves out White-Ra, my hero, but other than that I think that would be the best way to do it.

And clearly because iNcontroL didn't win 4 (or however many) MLGs he is garbage... and LZgamer is also a good choice, it's not like either one is better than the other if you're basing soley on the very few MLGs this far.

Imagine that you were a player who was hoping to get picked and then wasn't. If the people who got picked all recently won big tournaments, you might feel a bit unlucky, but it's clear what you have to do in order to get in, and it's something you should feel capable of. If instead, you've won major tournaments but haven't gotten an invite, it feels really unfair and hopeless - you just don't have enough fans on the internet. You've been doing great but no one noticed you.

1. Brat_ok dunno if his team is ok with that. If he were to live in the ogs_tl house he would roflstomp everyone
2. Huk obvious choice
3. Dimaga would be one of them however I doubt he will go to korea at least thats what he said several times. With the right practice he would roflstomp everyone !.
4. Maybe Sen depends on what his plans are.

These are the ones I think will actually accomplish something

I dont think there are any NA players besides Tyler and Huk who are worth sending there. Too bad Tyler wont go.

If I had one vote it would be for Huk. He is an excellent player.

So what do you base it on, other than liking them and/or them being EG? Of course it should be based on major live events.

Incontrol ended 13, 17 and 15th in all 3 MLGs. Lzgamer was even worse.

I wish people would take this more seriously. =/
