Hell, even Day9 doesn't deserve PLAYING in something like this to be honest, however good these are, they haven't done/qualified for any tournament (finals), haven't been up that high in any ladder so far. Imho Huk should get a chance, obviously, the rest I don't really care about(don't consider anyone that high level who hasn't been in a GSL before.) EDIT: Maybe Fenix though? Artosis made it to ro32 GSL 1 after he had switched races from playing toss in beta to zerg for live because Idra told him to. Making it to ro32 puts him ahead of HuK for GSL accomplishment. IMO Artosis is a fair choice for one of the spots although many would probably find it controversial. At the very least he should be considered as a 'backup' pick if the main picks turn down the offer. Based on foreign tournament performances I'd consider these five: HuK White-ra Naama Morrow Dimaga Based on GSL performance I would also consider these three: TLO Ret Artosis

Then it becomes really though Its hard to say because everyone has their ups and downs. Its sad that tlo and tyler dont want to go to korea. I really think tlo is potential code S material. He missed it by a hair and has improved a lot since. I would say either socke/qxc/mana/kiwikaki/dimaga/demuslim in this order. Inviting Grubby would definately increase the amount of viewers/income for GOM but I dont think Grubby himself is ready for it.

Agreed on Artosis being eligable then. Apologies.

So I guess by the same criteria incontrol would be deserving, and any other foreigner that made the trek to Korea to compete in the open GSLs but failed. Hmmm guess I'm saying it should be HuK, Select, incontrol and whiteRa just cuz I cheer for him. ![]()

Huk Naama Fenix Morrow Simply because they are the winners of the biggest foreign tournaments so far (who aren't already Code S), since I think the original announcement of this said tournament winners. Whether or not they all actually accept due to personal obligations is up in the air, in which case they'd probably have alternates to invite who are solid performers in the tournament scene.

Huk is an obvious choice as he was dominating NA, is now living in Korea and seems to be doing quite well over there. He is a relatively well known figure among the Koreans as well. This is a nice privilege for whoever gets chosen and I feel that it should go to players who will represent the foreign community well and have consistently proved their abilities to be very top outside of Korea. Incontrol would fit the former category well, but I don't think he's shown himself to be anything more than a decent foreign pro player yet, so I would not just hand him Code A. I certainly hope he qualifies through the preliminaries though. Also, Select is a Korean. He doesn't qualify for this in case you don't know.

They are amazing players and I would love to see them compete (I dont know if TLO will go back to Korea though, wasn't he already offered code A?)
