I agree on replays and Clantags. Matchmaking/Ladder thing - that is not gonna happen because there arent enough players on all servers to support that at any time - it would slow down the ladder experience a lot. Laddering with Offraces - Blizzard already said they think about it and might implement it in the future. Chatcommands - after you started a conversation you can switch through your conversation partners by pressing tab. As you already stated its kinda impossible to use /msg /w commands because you can use names more than once. FFA - are unranked because hardly anyone is playing them + you can join the same FFA anytime if you just search at same time as your friend is - also its not possible to say what your FFA skilllvl is because there is a huge luck factor involved playing these. LAN - if they give out LAN for tournaments i bet a week after that its already leaked and you can play starcraft 2 for free. If you want them to take your post seriously you should rather make 6 or 7 different posts and not one big post. The reason is that many of your points arent well thought out.

You detailed the current state of FFA, which is mainly due to it being unranked. I said LAN-like environment. The point I was making is that the current BattleNet every-day servers aren't cutting it for high level play, and something needs to be done. Not necessarily add on LAN support. There is definitely enough players. It would cut the amount of ranked matches down, but make the quality of them much better. Also, why is it a bad thing that there would overall be less ranked matches being played, if the ranked ones are more competitive and of "higher" quality? On December 29 2010 13:03 BuzzJuice wrote: + Show Spoiler + I agree. Any attempt whether it seems too futile, too early, too late etc. won't hurt anyone. Feedback is always accepted. To people to think that it is too late to give feedback or too many people have tried it, consider whether you truly care about the game. If I like the game, I would keep giving feedback and criticism because I would want to make it better. But that's just me. @Cecil: PROSE Bold and give small subheadings to summarize points. Stuff like bolding 'hosting a lobby' is useful for a reader. Try and give testimonials or support from communities. Linking to other threads or having quotes from others helps out a lot. Your intention is to create a common community feedback. Right now it looks like it is just your strong opinion. Give more evidence that the whole community feels that way. You have more or less done a good job avoiding so much of the 'I' usage and made it seemed the Blizzard did a good job, but to FURTHER IMPROVE they need to do this, and this and this. However, specifically in the last paragraph of "Matchmaking/Ladder", you go on the attack and are completely informal. It is way too informal. Word it better: Whatever. Yeah, developing video games is about making money, but you have to appeal to both a broad audience and support your high tier players as well. I honestly think the whole division idea pissed everyone off much more than it did to make money or feign player progression. You can say the division system is alienating your audiences specifically the competitive community. You can improve experience if you had this. CONTENT You say that maps made by Blizzard are completely crap and state Desert Oasis is bad. There are quite a few people who would disagree with Desert Oasis because it is so different you get different plays which is good. Also, quite a few people note that although the maps are of inferior quality they are awesome for newer players to get acquainted with the maps. You should rephrase and state we want bigger maps, less chokes etc. rather than just say your maps are bad. What makes the map bad? I don't know what you mean by that. Link the map section to IcCup Diamond's thread while you are at it. LAN is a bit complicated. I do want LAN, but then that creates a problem. As a few pros like Idra stated that they don't want just LAN at tournaments, they want LAN overall because if LAN is made on tournaments, then you need to be able to practice on LAN constantly. The micro demands are way different. Just wanted to point that out. Can you point out Crossrealm play? The only way for people to play on other servers is to buy an account. You can implement something like 'If you want to play on Korean server, we will warn you and state that the ping could be bad'. Seems simple. Custom game. You can't intuitively search on the custom game ladder for a game that you want. I can't sort the games I want to play. I can't search for a map easily enough. Please revise and improve the search system. Lastly, as completely optional, not really needed at all so disregard if you want, but IMHO (humble), if Blizzard releases or 'fixes' any of these features, they don't need to do it altogether in a big package. Take a look at Google Chrome developers and other top notch developers. They always release improvements for a feature one at a time so it is more like a week for a new feature, rather than two months for a bunch of improvements. It is less headaches for the developer and for the user. The users can test out each feature as it comes out and give feedback. It is less stress on Blizzard Battle.net to fix each improvement. Thanks for the great feedback. I've already updated my post with most of your suggestions.

The others are reasonable measures which should be done, and at the same time should be easy to implement.

Let's say Huk comes out with a starlingly new strategy, it's clean, concise, and effective, within 24 hours, every serious Korean progamer knows and can play the exact same strategy, free of creative thought. Other than that. you have my vote, signature, or whatever it takes.

If HuK doesn't want to share any then he doesn't have to. The idea is to just use in-client uploading and downloading rather than sharing replays via third party uploading sites. replayfu.com is pretty convenient, but something client supported would be ideal.

personally though i agree with u i would like to see that the game is: 1st Bug Free (when u add new features bugs will increase) 2nd Balanced and then most of the things that u have been proposed integrated so to everyone i say calm is good because at the end of teh day the changes and features will come. Any way there is a big patch coming out in like 6-8 days or something.

You forgot custom games. An extremely important part of the older games. It's unplayable. So if I want to play a certain map I need to click show more and scroll then click show more then scroll; repeat until it's found which is hard around 100000000 other maps. So I can't play with my friends except if we join a party which is also unusable because of bugs that really aren't bugs because they're just unimplemented features that are stupid to omit, such as left click. Wow, so I can't create on a 1v1 map with my four man party. Big suprise that's a great feature thanks. Stats, why can I see exactly every stat I ever wanted on wc3 but none at all except maybe winrate in sc2. Also a removed feature. The laddering system in general, why is it obfuscated and dosen't work? Why are scammers in their own top 200 list that they can only compile themselves which we then proved was completely stupidly made? This is an extreme downgrade too, not being able to see how good you are compared to anyone else. Continuing. Why make a new and extremely weak chat when the old b.net features was perfect and are easy to implement. It's so incredibly obvious that blizzard got greedy and that affected our gaming experience to no end. Mutiple accounts? Why are my stats permanent, I can't reset in any way? Family members can't play any more? Can't play on other gateways? Can't make a smurf account? Can't change account name? Can't add my friends? Can't chat with friends? Can't play with friends? Can't watch games with friends? Can't make maps with friends? Can't play custom games with friends? Can't create a team with my friends? Can't moderate anything with friends? All these features, pretty important. Was there before the decision was made to destroy them. There's a lot more but god help us, is the only thing I can say really, god help us.

I didn't include anything about them because I don't play custom games, and so I can't really write much about it. If someone else were willing to contribute a section on Custom Games or hosting maps, and such, I'd be glad to incorporate it.

Especially the part about laddering with off-races. However, what I miss there is that some of us want to racepick depending on matchup... This was standard and a non-issue in brood war. Very, very seldom (never happened to me) did you run into an infinite loop: I see him pick zerg. I pick protoss. He picks protoss. I pick terran. He picks zerg. I pick protoss... Personally I don't want to play PvP. I don't want to play any mirror matchup. It doesn't suit my type of play and it's just boring. My solution was always to play ZvP. My current solution for sc2 is to borrow a friend's account and use Z on that (so I can practice ZvP). But then I have to play a bunch of zergs and terrans!
