Now all they need to do is figure out a way to eliminate cannon rush cheese and I don't think I could come up with a single thing to complain about. Maybe a Forge should require a Gateway.

I might be kidding, I might not be. Don't shoot me if whether or not you think I'm kidding jibes with your own personal beliefs.

Damnit! lol i just filled out all my sc2 liquibets and only put like 4 zergs through to the ro32 thinking this patch wouldn't be out by this weekend. I need a do over!

lol kind of obvious you are. but to be honest a gateway does require a pylon though.

I think especially the reaper needs to be redone completely, in don't see a place in the game with the current changes.

On the other hand I'd like to see a clear definition of the void ray, is it supposed to counter massive units? In this case they could remove the charged level and replace it with a constantly building charge on the target that will be lost when the target will be changed. The carrier is probably the most underused unit in the game, maybe if Blizzard makes changes to include the carrier in the game protoss would not rely on void rays so heavily.

What I am trying to say is: Changing the damage output/building time/movement speed, etc. slightly just works when the unit has a place in the game. But imo the reaper is the most broken unit in the game at this point (followed by the void ray).

I think the VR and Reaper nerf is unnecessary. Reapers were already useless mid-late game. Now they are useless, period. Way to have such an unique and fun unit such as the reaper be completely unplayable now. Depot before rax like I've stated before destroys variety in the game. They seem to want to make the early game as stagnant as possible.

Not really? Uncharged the void is better off now, charged it's 20% less damage. Kinda a wash. It's against armored that it really got nerfed damage wise.

Not at home right now can someone test how many stimmed marines take a void now and can queens 1v1 them now even charged?

Any battle starting with uncharged rays is likely to actually be more in favor of them. While people will say "yeah but anyone half decent just charged them", there are plenty of cases of charge being lost and the T/Z player still dying horribly. In those cases voids just got stronger. So I'm dubious that they are now unviable.

Again, the effect against non-armored (marines, queens, whatever), isn't very big. Your 3 marines will still get fried by a void no problemo.

I for one don't agree w/ the patch.

vrs: yay less micro!! since it starts out stronger! and speed doesn't help as much so not so much point in moving it to back since it prob won't get there anymore.

Racks: so terran can't bunker rush or reaper rush or rush in anything now....woot......
medivacs: i thought the point of making medics air and not ground like in sc1 was so they can move quickly.. :X'

zerg buildings: while making them more viable for 4v4, i thought the low health tech buildings encouraged sim city alot more since its not like you could wall with them or anything. also made u more aware of any drops/preventing/scouting them cause drops could ruin you really quickly
roach:woot! i'm a zerg player but really...roachs are now op since tehy can harass scvs longer and kill more scvs as a result, easier micro, better concave/more will hit after u move them up,

cooldowns: I guess its to lessen HT's feedback but HTs are barely used since storm is so weak compared to sc1 already so now its even less point in using them.

yeah I've never had a Carrier vs. Thor matchup, but I'm finding it incredibly hard to believe that Thors do well against them, given how badly they suck against anything armored.
