Yeah we will just have to wait and see what the deal is and the full scoop. Where are people getting this notion that he is getting a lot of money from EG. it just seems like people are talking out of their ass

OMG there needs to be an SC2 proleague now, can't wait to see the awkwardness ensue when Idra wins matches.
Can't spell Voidrays without Idra

yeah, i'd like that. torch seems to be a really nice guy and a very good player, want to see more from him.

I feel like people are making too big of a deal about the team thing.

The team is just a name/sticker on his shirt. I highly doubt he will move back to the states, and I also highly doubt that he will take his teammates very seriously. He just needs to cover his critical living expenses and I bet he just went for the team that offered the best deal.

Having a team is more than a "sticker on your shirt".

Yes... It also covers your critical living expenses, just like I said

Do you seriously think IdrA would get much out of practicing with LzGaMeR? I mean, Lz is good, but IdrA is on an entirely different level.

No, but I think there'll be more commitment than only getting an E.G shirt. I don't know more than you so it's obviously speculation, but I doubt EG will just throw money his way and not get anything in return.

if EG "bought" IdrA im sure they wouldn't want him to move to the US, you know, have a rep in korea is a lot better then having one in NA, especially since lots of the EG guys live in NA. IF IdrA is going to EG which ill believe it when i see it, i am 120% sure that he would stay in korea.

I don't understand what you mean. They get what every sponsor gets...Their name plastered along side IdrA's whenever he wins something lol.

What more do sponsors usually "get" from their players? Kisses? Their soul? Cleaning the bathroom?

he represents them. being represented by IdrA is a lot of "return".

Hmm I don't see IdrA working out in EG to be honest I'd have an easier time seeing him go to mouz, mTw or MYM I think that would be a lot better for him since in MYM he's got artosis, in mTw there's dimaga which he's got a lot of respect for and last there's mouz which I don't have any specific arguements for but they're great.

The dream would of course be to see nada go over to sc2 and have IdrA join wemade fox that would be nice

Heh. I was hoping he'd go to EG from the start. Now all I (as a fan of IdrA and EG) have to hope for is that prides are swallowed, beefs are squashed, and everyone realizes the team is in a position to improve greatly if things can be smoothed out. Everyone stands to benefit greatly.
One year in Seoul...yesh please

who is to say that the old BW EG roster is going to stay the same for SC2? I can think of a couple people on their roster that just can't compete on the international level. No offense to them, but it is true.

If IdrA is indeed on EG roster, then I am almost 100% positive they will have to clear salary in order to afford him. For an example, their WC3 roster is two people(Grubby making big dollars, and Ciara making not so many dollars). I am guessing SC2 will probably end up the same.

You guys have to realize that outside of korea, teams aren't sponsored 100% by corporations. EG isn't paying every player on their roster even 20k/yr.

Tell me, why would any of your arguements help Idra? Players doesn't mean shit in this game. Its a solo game not a team game.

EG can easily provide the best possible support in this category.

A possibility for sure, but as far I know, Idra hates Lzgamer but he's really good friends with incontrol, machine etc.

My personal pick would be fnatic.. great team, great players and a great organization behind it.

To be honest, If idra is going to a non-korean team.. what would influence his desicion the most should be the quality of practice partners within the team aswell as financial backing for either salary and/or event trips.

So for that..I have to say Fnatic
