Incase anyone want to watch Brat_OK crazy TvZ style that IdrA touched briefly on, heres a replay: Brat_OK vs Darkforce
He basicly build a huge mech army turtles really hard and add ghots to kill infestors and broodlords. Feels kinda wierd tbh.
One weakness seems to be that a infestor could np a ghost and emp all of them wich would results in nothing to kill the broods.

But seriously, you're making drama out of it? It's a fucking chill podcast, what made you think it's a "publicity stunt"? I really hope you are kidding. Edit: I'm just going to assume you weren't kidding and say FUCKING GET OVER IT it's their podcast im allowed to voice criticism, you are aware of that right? Why exactly does this antagonise you so much? not everyone that has a conflicting view is a "hater/troll". why is Anna allowed special treatment? and you really have trouble comprehending the fact that it is possibly a publicity stunt? She is a pageant model/eSports journalist/performance coach) her career is pretty much founded upon self publicity.. also what is there to "FUCKING GET OVER"? I don't like it, so i voiced my opinion, others have also held this opinion, if the SOTG hosts don't want to change it they don't have to, doesn't hurt to give feedback Anna is allowed special treatment because she is Geoff's girlfriend. Pretty simple. Its hilarious when she calls in and she asks great questions at least. JP's brother should walk over and ask questions imo, and maybe let Tyler's wife ask some too, that would be hilarious too Sure why not Day[9] should bring the midgets in!

i <3 state of the game keep it up and if i don't give a shit about my podcast i'll watch SOTG

Incontrol, you break my heart. Keep starting off so strong and getting my hopes up.

I remember this crazy ass game.
As far as weaknesses go, neural parasiting a ghost isn't much of a weakness. All the player has to do is spread his ghosts.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank YOU, Tyler for sharing your Hotkey setup with the community. Always amazed by how precise you explain things.
On the case of the Anna calls, well they are not funny anymore, more of a forseeable part of the podcast, like awkward transitions(although it seems there are less and less of these) or shoutouts. It's just annoying, if it interrupts really interesting conversations, otherwise i do not mind.

The hype was mostly because they compete (or competed until recently) on the Korean scene, there's always going to be hype around foreigners in Korea. It's somewhat justified because success on the Korean scene (and just being Code S can be considered as a success) still outweighs most accomplishments a player can get in Europe/NA. European players like Jinro, Ret and TLO are still going to be regarded highly and hyped up because of that as well, even if their recent results have been largely unimpressive. I agree. If Hasuobs or Thorzain went to Korea and had good results, they'd receive the same hype that Whitedog hates (?) so much. I don't know why he threw Dimaga's name in there because just like Jinro, both of them did well in Korea and the hype around them instantly exploded. LoL where did I say I hated the hype ? I follow every game of tyler & idra, and none of thorzain or hasuobs... I was just pointing out the fact that european and american have a different approach toward the game, i'm not saying at all that hasuobs or thorzain deserved more screen time.
And no, you don't hear anything about dimaga except the time he was in korea.

Dear handsome hosts,
I would really like to impress upon the hosts of this show to maximize discussion about the games, or at least the state of the game. You guys kind of did this last week but after a few distractions and a joke or two the discussion petered out and the topic was changed. And that's another problem that's been popping up in recent episodes:
JP will ask someone a question, say Idra, Idra will begin to answer but then Sean or someone will interrupt with a laugh or that they noticed something goofy on the stream or recalled a story and all will go to hell. Everyone forgets Idra was making a great point and they'll move on to the next person, after the distraction has dissipated, only to have a similar thing happen again. It'd be nice if there was a bit more focus on who was answering the question and what they were talking about, because I think that's why a lot of people tune in.
With so many tournaments being held each week, it hurts to tune in and hear scattered discussion about actual matchups with a ton of filler amongst bored/down-trodden hosts--not to mention Day9 almost always talking in the vaguest generalities, tiptoeing around balance discussion as if it weren't the elephant in the room.
Part of the problem is some of the hosts/guest not watching the games, and of course it's important to note there are so many games that to expect pro-gamers who require tons of practice themselves to tune in and have amazing things to say about them all is way too much to expect. It just feels like there's a cloud over the show at the moment and more honed-in SC2 related talk, with a bit more focus than recent episodes have showcased, would really make it awesome.
I understand it's a podcast amongst friends. I understand and appreciate that it's weekly, free and usually 2 hours or more. I love the show. Been watching since the beta and don't think I've missed an episode. The only reason I'm saying anything is because I think the 4-5 of you can bring it back pretty easily.

Side note, I hope you guys talk about the NASL matches this week, instead of just focusing on production issues.

SPOILER TSL - MC vs Thorzane
+ Show Spoiler +Game 4 against Thorzane, don't really think anyone can doubt MC's ability now , all the subtle things he was doing in that game to win, hope you guys talk about it. At least from the 4th game, I got the feeling MC out classed Thorzane, not that Thorzane is bad--he played amazing probably my favorite Terran player right now, but coming back after a 1 gas 2nexus 7min 4gate with 32 probes where at the end the Terran was ahead in harvesters and had upgrades/Tech started...that..that was the sign of a world class player, especially when he was at 0-0 upgrades vs 2-2... That was Thorzanes game to lose, but that was one of those games odd games you see from time to time, he didn't lose because he fucked up and gave MC the advantage (I don't even remember any moments where Thorzane did something stupid) he lost because MC played better The last game seemed like a build order loss for MC, don't think MC had ever played that kind of mass Thor before, but MC's on the fly response was actually pretty smart--I don't think any other Protoss player would have responded that well if that was the first time they saw that type of build

+ Show Spoiler + MC was at less harvesters, 1gas with no tech started after is attack failed against Thorzane who had +1 attack nearly done, +1def started immediately after with tech just starting, ThorZane had 2-2 before MC had +1/0/0.
His army was inferior to Thorzanes yet he was coming out on top in every engagement, he was making the right decisions, honestly who would have thought to go 5-6 Immortals in response to that? The only reason he didn't die was because he was winning virtually every Ghost vs Templar fight
I'm not saying Thorzane played bad, he played amazing--but it just seemed like MC was a step ahead

Pretty sure it is a joke. Its not like Thorzain did not hit any EMPs on the clumped up templars. Thorzain climbed back into the game several times. But the lack of EMPs was well not good.

+ Show Spoiler + MC went for a no sentry 4 gate allin (no probes were produced for a long time) that failed rly hard obviously, then he kept expanding whenever he saw Thor getting another base up. it was 1-1,5 base in favor of MC and still was very, very close all game long due to missing storms and no observer in the fights. u think that MC outclassed him? i think he failed with an allin, then just macro cheesed and Thorzain didnt punish him for it (obvious mistake on his part, but nothing to do with MC).
