Well, I disagree. I think we need 5 more Protoss players on this show, conservatively. Maybe 7 or 8 more.

I agree that it's not ideal. But considering that he's coming on the show immediately after finishing his daily (which requires preparation), I think it's a fair compromise when the alternative is not having him on the show at all. I think he brings a lot to the show and because of that, I can live with something being less than ideal. (In related news, Day9 eats a lot of pizza...!) ![]()

It's not like he was snarfing it down while trying to talk, whenever he had something he said it and then continued on eating.

Im so glad you guys seem largely unaffected by the idiocy of the vocal minority, and I hope you know that the huuuge silent majority greatly admire and respect the work you guys do for the community.

I heard in another thread that oGsNada was the only player to take the offer, and he went over to the oGs house to play. He doesn't usually live with oGs; he lives on his own. I can't confirm it with a reliable source, just something I heard that sounds true. I STRONGLY agree with what the cast was aluding to about the community rating players. We really need to lose this attitude in the community where 1-4 games of a player defines the community's attitude towards them. In a Best of 100, CombatEX could probably take ONE game off of oGsMC. If that happened to be the ONE game he played against MC in a Bo1 or team league format, I assure you the forums would have 100 topics like: * "Combat-EX best protoss now" * "Combat-EX seriously underrated" * "StarCraft 2 is an extremely volatile game" * "Why SC2 shouldn't be an esport" * "oGsMC crazy overrated" * "Proof that PvP is a horrible matchup" * "Blizzard can't design games, greedy bastards controlled by Activision" * "Why BW is better" Then, the community doesn't even consider matchups any more. It's "IdrA is a great player" or "IdrA is a horrible, overrated player". There is never a "IdrA's TvZ is awesome, but his ZvP feels weak at times" amongst the general population. I feel like most of the community that came in during the SC2 era doesn't seem to understand that matchups and consistency are absolutely critical qualities of a good player. A handful of games tells you next to nothing about the player. 5-10 games tells you more, but you really want to see a lot of games before you can conclusively say "Man, this guy is amazing/great/good/decent/bad/terrible at X matchup". I applaud and respect the people who do understand this, but they seem to be a rarity now.
