But he as a person is cool. Also we try and make it as inside/sarcastic and uninteresting as possible so if you find it any of those things please don't listen... it will be more of the same. Did I mention sarcasm? Just wanted to throw my two cents and say that I absolutely LOVE exactly how the podcast is right now! I wouldn't trade the sarcasm/jokes for anything, and keep it up! On a side note, I'm having a tough time finding the podcast that you 'guest-starred' on, iNcontroL...is there a link you (or anyone else) could provide?

Did I mention sarcasm? Generally I would say you hit the mark, but the whole TLO accent thing was pretty dumb. Even as an ironic "hoho i'm making fun of your accent badly" joke it was pretty stupid and unfunny. Just saying. Really enjoying the podcasts in general and the range of guests provide some really cool variation, so keep it up.

It's getting to the point where JP is starting to make fun of Incontrol...omg the world is gonna explode soon! I agree that the guests shouldn't worry so much about being PC, don't go overboard, but its a podcast and its great to show some personality to the community, like how everyone loves to hate Idra ![]()

Apparently TLO isn't an ultra-sensitive drama queen who looks for things to get pissed off at all day. BTW for the people who are claiming that the reason for TLO not talking too much during the podcast was because of Geoff's "obnoxiousness", you might want to listen to some previous episodes with TLO as guest.

Did I mention sarcasm? I'm really not pissed nor offended, i guess i made my post too harsh to express my point. I'm sorry. You know when you watch someone being really really embarassing? Or a movie with really, really bad actors? You cringe, its almost too much to watch. I got that feeling during incontrols "flaming" of TLO. Yes, he speaks with an accent but as i said earlier, its pretty obvious why he would. I mean.... where is the punchline in that joke? Sarcasm? Meh. Felt like you were trying too hard to be funny (incontrol) IN THIS SPECIFIC PART OF ONE EPISODE. There is really no need to.

Feel free to throw that up on a billboard. Anyways, great show again this week. Like others have mentioned, I really enjoyed the in-depth gameplay analysis and hope more of that continues. For a crappy player like myself, it's very helpful and I think my game has improved the more I've listened to the podcast. So thanks again, keep up the awesome work!

For the love of god people, if TLO can take the joke why can't you? Reading your posts complaining about the mock accent is embarrassing.

But making fun of an accent just has a whole ignorance type deal associated with it. I guess it's similar to making fun of someone for wearing a turban. I think this is really only an issue with us americans because we're so cut off from everyone. You're basically pointing out that you're not culturally well rounded and you bring your ignorance into the spotlight about a normal thing that most other people don't find unusual at all which is where the awkwardness comes from. I've lived in three countries and visited 16 in my life, I still make fun of accents (including my own). Christ, I never understood this PC mentality. To me it sounded like iNcontrol made a joke, it sounded like he made an attempt to be funny. It did not sound like "omg fucking ignorant american piece of shit doesn't realize not everyone speaks english ffs". It was a joke. If you honestly believe making fun of an accent 'brings your ignorance into the spotlight' I get the impression that you've spent far more time arguing about pointless things online than actually travelling the world becoming 'culturally well rounded', as you put it. Then again I'm European, we just don't give a shit. I know as many jokes about Norwegians as the French have jokes making fun of Belgians, yet no one is shedding any tears over it.

yeah, making fun of someone's accent makes me culturally narrow and ignorant. Meanwhile the guy watching a podcast revolving around loose banter and a group of friends sharing their talks with the community deciding that a joke indicates huge implications about character etc is completely logical. I tell you what? I'm going to 1 up myself in the next podcast and make fun of Huk for wearing a hoodie during an interview dooming myself to hating resilient youth across the planet and avid hood wearers. roflflfl

I'm European and have lived in 4 countries, as well. Not sure what that has to do with the subject. I think iNcontrol is too feeble-minded to pull off such jokes, and as a result I completely agree that it brought his ignorance into the spotlight. The worst part is that TLO seems like a sensitive and humble person, and the contrast in the two personalities is what made it really awkward to witness.
