But as is, there is only about 30 mins of State of the Game speech. You had TLO, a fantastic strategist, on and he spoke for around 5mins total in 2 hours. Day9 is a blessing but he needs to save the tangential ranting for his own show. Incontrol is a great speaker and thus naturally enjoys hearing himself talk. He was the all-star of this past cast. Sean and Geoff had a great discussion about Zerg. We need more of that and less rambling, pointless banter. The first 15 mins was all filler... JP... you've done great so far but your style need some spicing up. You ask one guy a question and then to the next guest you always say "so do you have anything to add to that or do you just agree with so-and-so"... also, we don't need to hear EVERYONE's picks for such and such a tournament. Just get the general consensus. | ||

I don't think making fun of someone's accent and then referencing WWII in a pejorative manner, to a german nonetheless, is funny at all. I think the "ignorant americans" comment by TLO basically summed up how he felt about Incontrol constantly making fun of his accent. The guy only spoke for like 5 minutes the entire podcast after being ridiculed right from the start. Way to make your guests feel welcome. | ||

I think you need to either watch all the SoTG (im sure you do) but I personally don't think I didn't get any of the jokes they made in this past SoTG. Maybe you just aren't getting them due to your sense of humor? Don't read into that as it is a complete guess, clearly I don't know you so don't get upset. It seems your looking for a extremely serious strategic debate. Can we not have part "poinltess banter" some may call that personality, and strategic discussions? While I do agree I don't think TLO thought it was funny, that is the beauty of the show. The main few are themselves and don't go all PC on us. Fuck the critics you guys are doing great and don't change a thing. IMO its entertaining, but im just an ignorant american what do I know? also TLO spoke for atleast 7 min not 5...................... | ||
