The GSL prize pool suggests that it most certainly IS serious business. ^^

YOU HATE HUK. There is no way around this. Villainous slander and defamy were thrown around in the last show, and now you must settle it in a mono-a-mono battle of wits, strength, and e-penis size. Huk will be wearing a hoodie for all aforementioned events.

1) Focus on GSL. The show has lately been revolving a lot around GSL and the korean scene, which I think is great! Getting IdrA to commentate on that makes it feel a bit more hands-on, it creates a sense of closeness to the issue being discussed which is really quite unique for this podcast. One thing I think could improve in this area would be to perhaps give the listeners a bit more information about the players when you ask the "x vs y, who's your pick?" questions to the panel. Same thing goes for when you discuss SC1 players' switch to SC2. As a player who only started following the scene with SC2, the names from SC1 doesn't say anything to me. I think perhaps if it's possible to throw in at least which race/playstyle the players use can help create an image for people who don't follow GSL themselves very much. 2) Guests. It's totally awesome that you can get people like TLO, IdrA, and PsY to come and discuss all things Starcraft! It is really interesting to hear what the more known players think and feel of the game. But I think that, in order to get the most out of this, you need to tailor the episodes slightly more in favor of putting the guests in the spotlight. The latest episode with both IdrA and PsY as guests felt a bit like a production failure - despite the episode being both informative and hilarious. If you have a guest that is not as familiar with the korean scene as the rest of the panel (PsY), I think you need to ask questions that are more easily answered, without requiring so much background knowledge of the scene. Perhaps even change the entire show's schedule and reduce the GSL portion of the show. IdrA has the knowledge to be able to provide valuable inputs on the matter. But for PsY it is totally understandable if it's hard to crack in to the panel's discussions, especially since incontrol and day9 can completely devour the airtime. That leads to him being dead silent and probably making him feel like a fly on the wall, with no input to give. I hope that PsY can be a guest again later on in the show, as I think his commentary and playstyle is quite interesting, and more in line with most "regular-Joe-on-the-ladder" players view on the game. To sum it up: Tailor the episodes a bit more around the guests and bring them to the spotlight, instead of having them try to fight incontrol and day9 for airtime, which is virtually impossible if you don't have that tip-top knowledge and personality mix like they do. Help the guests bring out their personalities! Finally, try to limit the number of guests to 1, otherwise you even further increase the distance between the guests and the regulars. 3) Lightning round. I like the concept of this, as it's one way to help address the issue under 2). The execution could be much better though. Discuss the lightning round with the participants before the show and make them understand that you get limited time to think, and limited length to the answers. And also, have the other panelists be quiet during this interview. It distracts so much from the concept if they chime in and answer "for" the interviewees, or make remarks immediately after they replied. The focus should be on the participants of the lightning round! Hope that helps! Love the show! So much humour and knowledge mixed really makes this the best Starcraft podcast around. Incontrol is a comedy genius!

Having two guests is kinda overkill, especially when they're not really experts in the same field. Idra + TLO might work better as a guest duo, if the topic was TvZ balance or "foreigners at the GSL". Also, from a technical standpoint, a good method of ensuring sound quality is to have the conversation on Skype but have the regulars actually record their audio track locally, then send the MP3s to be mixed in Audacity or Audition or whatever you're using. Guests can still be recorded off Skype. Obviously that's more work for everyone, and I don't personally mind the sound quality that much, but it's still the easiest way to have a somewhat more professional result and avoid the audio levels issue (since you can equalize the volume of each panelist).

EDIT: Regarding the random T&A, this is just dumb on the part of the organizers. Starcraft doesn't need random models in Daisy Dukes. It's so out of place it's ridiculous. Can you imagine those chicks at a chess tournament?
