Yeah this meta idea is really a bad idea by Artosis.
I am not sure if it is meant as "dick" move but it sure looks like one from an outside perspective, seems to be bad for most people involved imo.

What is it that makes it unacceptable for artosis to make his own show? Let's imagine for a moment that him and jp are on good terms and artosis just decides he wants to try to make his own show. Why would it not be ok for him to do that? It seems silly to be like "there's already a show, you aren't allowed to make another one".

I blame Blizzard's system over the team managers, it would be silly to not take advantage of the potential monetary gain from WCS NA, have you seen the GSL ro16? Axiom players outside Ryung aren't on that level, this is what they have to do to stay relevant.

Well, a couple of things.
The money that Artosis is going to earn from this show is absolutely negligible compared to the amount of money he already makes. I don't buy the argument that Artosis is primarily motivated by financial reasons at all.
Let's step back for a second here. Artosis is making another show that's different from SotG; he's stated that he wants to focus on different things himself. That's why he's making another show! And the concept of a stream where you invite guests to talk about a game on a regular basis is by no means property of SotG; people have been doing this for a long time. So Artosis isn't "copying" or "stealing" SotG; in fact, his show broadcasted at a time when SotG wasn't even on, so he's not even stealing people away from SotG. It's not as if people are limited to being on one stream a week.
And even if he was directly copying the show and stealing the guests, which he isn't, I'd hardly consider that "a fucking atrocity". I mean, c'mon, man. This is a talk show about SC2. Let's not devalue the word here; it should be reserved for things that are actually terrible.
