In the end, he should have never been brought on. Hindsight is 20/20. I highly doubt Avilo knows for certain what he's getting himself into a pure ridicule and bully. He even said so himself just a few posts ago, probably didn't think SOTG were enough of a jackasses to say those things right in his face ... this. the reason IdrA / others started flaming him is because he is so ignorant of actual discussion and just wants to get to the one-liner balance complaints. the fact so many people defend such an obnoxious, idiotic way to have a conversation is beyond me.. losing hope in the community by the moment. great response. the triple dot totally refute my statements
It doesn't even matter what avilo thought about what he's heading into. What you are instiguating is onpar with blaming the bullied for being bullied or those got scammed for being scammed.

In general I don't like it on SotG when they hang shit on people.
Especially when I don't know who the hell they are talking about. I don't know Avilio from a bar of soap, and I don't care to, but all episode the running joke was to hang shit on Avilio, which makes me think 'why is so much time being wasted on this?' Also, I don't know who he is, so it's not funny. Maybe it's funny to them, but they may as well be talking about the fucking milkman. The only thing worse than a nasty running joke is a nasty running joke that isn't funny.
Guys, please. Don't waste time on people if you consider them to be not relevant, and don't be needlessly dickish to people.

The beauty of it was how perfectly they lived up to the "frat house" label...a couple of bros overcompensating for their micropenis and hazing some clueless wannabe kid haha good stuff...oh and then there's the guy who once got invited by accident to a party at the house and now he'll do anything to not get kicked out (JP). not sure where nony fits in, he's probably the guy who just pops in randomly to use the rec room and smoke up but he always brings girls so he's cool

noticed avilo "agreeing" with Idra and cutting him off, that's something that pisses off everyone

Utter shock among the community. .-. wat.
I am not going to justify either side because nobody is right here. It was a situation that should have been avoided but wasn't. However, I can't comprehend why people are blowing this up to be such a huge deal.
Avilo doesn't have the same understanding of the game that pros do, and I don't think anyone can deny that. That being said, I feel Idra was completely justified in being frustrated talking with him. Anybody would get frustrated trying to argue with someone about something you have a much deeper understanding of because a portion of what they are saying you know for a fact is not true. Idra clearly didn't want to talk to him in the first place because of this.
On Avilo's end, he knew what he was getting himself into and unlike a lot of what I am reading on here, he wasn't so innocent himself. Could both people have handled it better? Sure. Is it some complete atrocity the way that he handled it? I don't believe so.
In the end, he should have never been brought on. Hindsight is 20/20.
I would argue his "deep understanding" isn't actually that much deeper at all, a 40 year old man sitting at home watching football can have the same ability to call every single play the coach is calling on the field just by observing it and understanding the game. There is a big difference between playing on a pro level, and understanding on a pro level... Now I'm not advocating the concept that everyday joe's should deem they have more knowledge than professional players, but I am saying that someone who is literally on the verge of professional play may very well have an indepth knowledge comparable to many pro's...
Just my two cents

I thought the episode was great, TvZ discussion between idra and QXC was nice. Overall entertaining episode. Thanks JP!.
+ Show Spoiler +Seriously, enough with the drama nerds. Take that shit to reddit.

I really dont think Avilo should've been brought in. You really only need one TvZ argument. qxc v IdrA was good. The incident with Avilo is why I hope MLG isn't on TV any time soon because our community shouldn't even be on TV yet with how everyone acts.
Yes it's IdrA, yes he's notorious for this shit, but I hope to god Starcraft stays off TV outside of Korea because we'll just look so bad because of the nonstop drama.
You really all should've seen it coming, IdrA said he didn't want him on and you sorta forced him to do it. That doesn't excuse his actions but you should've known it would happen and you should've said no and not let him on because qxc did everything fine, you didn't need another one.

Well you're right that one's understanding isn't dependent on their skill level. I agree 100%. However, I will stand by the fact that Avilo's understanding is not on par with Idra's. That and the entire community has witnessed some of the... less than supported opinions that Avilo has had about TvZ in the past. I am not discrediting him because he is still a better player than I am, but the fact remains.

I know its been said and debated but I just wanted to express my opinion that Idra and Qxc had a great discussion.

What IdrA did, ie calmy say "i'm not going to talk to this person anymore" was completely understandable considering how Avilo was completely ignorant of any actual in-game scenario IdrA tried to bring up. IMO it was Avilo who should be blamed for starting a "controversy", anyone who argues in such an obnoxious manner ("I don't care what you say, I just want to say a 1-liner about how imbalanced TvZ is") does not deserve to share his opinion in front of the community

How can anyone take Idra seriously when he says MKP doesn`t know anything about the game and just does random shit?

Apparently the first quote doesn't watch TV, where bitching is literally a constant abyss... If anything, eSports has less arguments then live TV any day (Note reality TV/News channels [fox] etc)

You have to take it into consideration that it's IdrA and look at the nugget idea underneath it, examine it and determine what might be meant by someone that wasn't IdrA saying it. :-p
I think that he means to say that MKP does some unorthodox things some times.

I respect Avilo for not retaliate for the shit he has to endure past couple episodes. The constant shit talking, laughing in the background, belitting, demeaning photos from when he was 13, and hanging up the call
