And incontrol (incholesterol lol?) needs to get drunk every episode, so much comedy gold to be had. Between nailing naniwa to the wall in the most poignant monologue he's ever done (compare this to Tyler's unending borefest on the subject), discussing the fashion styles of TLO and Jinro, and breaking down the various e-sport fanbases, I was thoroughly entertained all thanks to incontrol. Sure he tried too hard to troll the porn star but she threw it back and made it fun. BTW it's hilarious how quiet and unsure all the alpha SC2 nerds get when a sexual woman enters their domain.

That isn't to say I didn't enjoy it though and I think outside of that everyone did a fantastic job, especially in making sure they abused artosis a bit.

That isn't to say I didn't enjoy it though and I think outside of that everyone did a fantastic job, especially in making sure they abused artosis a bit. I would agree with you except for the fact that she uses her Porn Career to fuel her fanbase and popularity. It's not like she doesn't want people to know her for her past otherwise no one would care about her. She has the viewers mainly because they knew she was a porn star and can find videos of her online. Her own avatars for skype and her stream are provocative pictures from her past as well so when people start saying to treat her with more respect it makes me laugh because she doesn't give her self the respect she wants from others. That's why geoff and whoever else will make their jokes about her.

It was more like her voice and the words that came out were barely comprehensible and seemed very nervous, gave Incontrol nothing to work with, which eventually made the entire segment of that show just unbearable to watch unless you're into masochism. Thank Allah Wheat somewhat salvaged that part of the show though.

It's the sc2bw custom map. Now that TL attack hasn't been on in a while nobody is using it for anything at all there has got to be some place it can fit in. I don't think the majority of new sc2 viewers would mind watching it once in a while especially with good/popular casters that they like. What if there was some show-matches or a small side tournament at the homestory cup for already eliminated players on sc2bw when there is no sc2 to show on stream to add some variety and content for example? Because this new chick missed the party and noone knows about her, + She isn't EXACTLY like the original chick, which pisses off the guys who are still worshiping at her feet, so they feel offended by her. Also she isn't easy to get to know like the second one and learning how she works is difficult because the challenges you face vary, unlike with the other two who can set you against things you can easily deal with (Not so much with the first chick, but its alot less random) Damn good metaphor btw

That's why geoff and whoever else will make their jokes about her. Self-respect means respecting yourself and your decisions, not hiding from sex. Since what she does on her channel is neither porn nor a constant in depth discussion of porn, I don't see why some people can't get past it. The fact that she uses her porn career to get publicity is no worse than the fact that destiny, incontrol and tyler now have fan bases more due to their status as community figures rather than their gaming success. I have no problem with the sotg guys teasing her a bit about it because they treat each other the same way, the problem I have is that they never get past it to actually focus on gaming/e-sports, which is the difference between they way they mess with her and the way they insult each other normally. She was obviously a little uncomfortable/defensive (expecting prejudice) and they made no effort to be respectful and welcoming; it was like an interrogation with them all (tacitly in some cases due to their silence) on one side and her - on their show, in their comfort zone - isolated. As the host JP should have been responsible for preventing this rather than leaving Geoff, the least appropriate person for this role, interviewing her on his own. tbh after the first couple of jokes and the resulting checking out of her videos, I'm ready to move on from that and talk about video games. This is focusing on a small section of a single show and the negativity I'm expressing isn't a reflection on how I feel about sotg in general or the majority of the final show. Can we do a 'things I'd like in the next season' section rather than continuing a discussion no Christian will ever agree with me on. Things I'd like to see in next season: An opinionated top level Terran JP to be more in control of the discussion (press the guys more on their opinions, represent the opposite side of arguments, briefly summarise the discussion at the end, etc.) More balanced discussions of balance (get desinty/idra + tyler/incontrol + a terran +day9 and artosis would be amazing) More currently successful player interviews/work with mlg to get them then they can be used as filler at events too. Brief discussion of trends in unit comp/play you expect to see in the recent future as well as picking out the reason they feel certain players have had good showings recently (more in depth than '*** had a great tournament')

I really don't mind that she was a pornstar/plays video games, but seriously it wasn't anyone's fault except JP. What the fuck are you supposed to ask someone with that intelligence level? I'm sure she could have a stimulating discussion on Newton's Three Laws..... but after everyone was drunk as well nothing productive was ever going to come out of that. Your ideas for next season are all good though ![]()

time to make the first announcement of an announcement of 2012 -- someone is leaving @StateOfTheGame for season 3! and someone is joining! I feel like it might be Day[9] that's leaving, they liked that new time and it's in the middle of the Daily, plus he has to leave early every night, so he's barely on to begin with. As far as who they add, I don't really know what to expect there. Just hope the chemistry is as good as it is with the current hosts, their discussions feel really natural.

At least I hope that it's him... Not because I don't like him on the show, but because out of all the pillars, I can only really see Day9 or Artosis leaving anytime soon. Tyler definitely doesn't seem to be going anywhere and neither does Incontrol. As for Artosis and Day9: Artosis is just awesome, and I love the back and forth between him and Incontrol. Plus he brings a great Korean perspective into the show. Day9 on the other hand... If he comes on at all, he usually leaves early and doesn't end up contributing much. So, if the show's losing one of them. I hope it's Day9. P.S. I'm leaning towards Destiny being the new host. Out of the recent guests on the show that I can remember, he seems to have had the best rapport with the crew.

It makes sense, he is seldom on because of other obligations so it would fully reasonable if he decided to not commit anymore instead of being on sometimes and other times leaving JP to find someone to fill in. It would be sad to see him go though, he's been with the show forever (Though so has everyone else other than Artosis). There's been a number of guests who could be really good hosts. People who come to mind are Sheth (he's so awesome! I don't see this happening but it would be cool!), Destiny (He's been on multiple times lately and was quite good. Please don't hurt me for suggesting this), Kennigit (He has been good when he has been on and provides good insight into the scene. It is more of a general SC2 show than strategy after all and he could give great insight from a behind the scenes/management perspective), and Idra (Though he may not want to do multiple shows while training for Code S. He's usually really good when he is on the show). Or it could be someone completely new. It'll be interesting to see. Edit: Just thought of this, from a business perspective, Destiny would bring a ton of viewers from his stream.
