Went into this hoping for an usual, exceptional SotG. Instead got another mediocre show with the usual dick sucking and boring commentary. Disappointing.

I'm not talking about serious strategy. The game had no ramifications on anything. It changes nothing. It shouldn't have been played at all because it was inconsequential. I much rather have them cancel it. I don't want to see players play half-ass. I will skip it every time if I think they are going to throw a match.

Say there was a 3rd place match that wasn't worth anymore money wouldn't you play it out for the better result? He wants to win the tournament. I don't think Naniwa sees a distinction between 8th place and 16th place.

But at the same time, I disagree people will discount the loss as not a real loss. It is a real loss, even if it's more of a psychological loss in an unimportant game. But still, Nestea wasn't the one who forfeited, so he deserved winning his 4th place. To me this loss in the 1v1s between the two of them counts, Naniwa was the weaker one this day. What Naniwa won was the trolling game between them though, he probably felt like the moral winner.
