Knee jerk reaction to me dropping an F bomb. JP is mediocre at best, and a terrible host at worst. Im blunt. It's nothing personal against him, I would praise him if he improved for next episode. I said earlier that good hosts to emulate are Ryan Davis from the Bombcast and Garnet Lee from Weekend Confirmed. Give them a listen if you wanna hear a good host.

JP's main issues are:
- Is indecisive in who should talk and how the show should go, this spills over into the guests and makes for some very awkward moments
- Seems very tired and bored of the show, his boredom makes me bored (not just this show: every show)
- Does not seem to care about looking "professional": he started as just a guy in his room and he still has this attitude. This is an intangible quality so don't ask for examples. But I think we can all agree JP's performance on SOTG is not television quality.

I honestly prefer the more laid back aspect of SoTG. I wouldnt want it to transfer to this professional "you talk, now you, and you" sort of thing where they are like all dressed up and looking fancy. I mean I dont know what you mean by "look professional" but thats what I'm imagining.

As far as him not doing his "homework" I would like to see you try to work full time for MLG and keep up with every other tournament out there. I mean people make mistakes and cant know everything; ie when sheth joined Liquid in reference to the last SoTG. I think JP does a good job and its very easy for you to sit idly by and criticize people when you probably couldnt do any better yourself.

I was actually a little bit shocked to hear that some professional players are acting rude and insulting the casters. I really love the fact that Artosis brought this largely unseen and unheard problem to the professional's and most of all, to the public's attention.

It feels really strange to hear that some pro players are being rude to the casters whose job is to be positive and talk good things about you. Whether it's bad manner between casual players, professional players or casters, bad manner just generally shouldn't happen

Every sport with professional players has aspects of the game that disrupt the flow. Whether it be commercials, injuries, penalties, timeouts, etc. As professionals you need to prepare for these things as well, or at least be aware of them. I disagree with both sides if there is any sort of bad mouthing or what have you, that is just bad taste, and once again the professionalism needs to show on both sides.

Just my two cents.

Can you guys please stop focusing on forum posts and tournament predictions. Personally I'm way more interested in hearing what kind of builds the players have been practicing and the problems they've been running into. Starcraft is interesting to me, the drama surrounding it is much less so.
