Plus I don't think he responds very well to criticism; part of that is because some people are morons but part of it is because of the way he lashes back so that people get even more aggressive as time goes on.
Kinda sad he gets the shit he does. Obviously very biased and has double standards but his love of the game is genuine.

you wouldn't know anything about my reaction and what it's influences are.. hence my frustration when people like you speculate but the difference between you and a volunteer writer for TL is you get to say dumb stuff and nobody cares or quotes and just moves on.. when it's a big article it gets the attention it doesn't deserve. It's dumb in your opinion, but there are other people who would agree the results of LZ, Strifecro, and yourself are unacceptable for players living in a dedicated team house and enjoying the backing of one of North America's largest gaming teams. Either way blasting confusedcrib to the extent you did for simply having an opinion and choosing the wrong platform on which to express it is douchey. This is also disregarding the fact that you exaggerated his stance severely...

It wasn't just Geoff's opinion, though. I seem to recall Artosis - and basically everyone on SOTG - echoing his sentiments. The article's stance wasn't just "dumb in his opinion." It was flat out wrong, on top of being inappropriate.

also lz doesn't live in the house but the fact I am telling you that shows your research into the matter.. it's pretty standard to have an opinion you don't actually know anything about but when you get called out on it it's best you just turtle up and go away maybe we will forget you are dumb.

Are you implying that everyone living in a korean house or playing on a korean team has success greater than the players you have listed? I think not.
Can't really expect everyone living in a house or on a good team to win tournaments. It's not realistic.

The thing is that if you subscribe to that belief then you must also believe that 3ish months is enough time to become the best of the best and that is excluding the travelling that has been going on for the EG guys. This also assumes that those players you listed were playing "correctly" before they went into the house and that they did not have any kinks to iron out of their play which I think is a rather daft assumption for a game that is still so young. However if we were to revisit this topic in another 8-10 months I am of the opinion that the EG guys will be massively improved. The criticism's of iNcontroL's reaction and the reaction of the other SOTG hosts are more valid but as iNcontroL says we have no idea what influenced his reaction.
I think the only real criticism of EG with regards their team house at the moment is that they invest in this and look like they are ready to push western e-sports forward and then firstly recruit HuK, and while Huk is a fantastic player he is not interested I would assume at this moment in Leaving Korea and contributing to the house and then forming the slayers partnership which will remove even more of their top players from the house who's presence would most help the weaker members improve and while I would expect the house is a more long term investment than the next 6-12 months given the longevity of BW I still think EG is doing a lot in a very short space of time. Also they seem tyo be verry Terran light as I believe LZ switched to zerg and Puma and DeMu are not full time in the house

That third song in SoTG 57. I MUST HAVE IT.
Seriously. Anyone remember? Kind of sad, no lyrics or words or anything like that. sounded like one stringed instrument and one woodwind.

Great show!! Always looking forward to the next episode Just wanna know what's the song that runs during commercials on the mp3s?

Wasnt having an opinion because quite frankly I dont care enough the topic. I was just pointing out that different views on the matter do in fact exist, and your reaction was excessive. Your response could have basically been:
Author: the EG house doesn't seem to be working, EG members aside from the "big 3" are showing disturbingly poor results. You: Our results aren't as bad as you make them out to be, and 3 months isn't enough time to show noticeable improvement.
Instead you berate the writer, call him an idiot, and exaggerate his argument and claim he's somehow questioning the validity of North American team houses in general...

Honestly I thought Artosis was harder on ConfusedCrib then iNcontroL lol. Kinda funny that iNcontroL sees all the flaming and not Artosis .
Whether they were harsh about the way the conveyed their criticism of ConfusedCrib's article or not, they were right. That portion of the article did not need to be written. It didn't really seem to fit into the topic of the article, and overall it felt like a thoughtless pot shot at the EG players and the organization, and I think it would be wrong of EG to completely ignore that.
Yeah sure, they might've been a little bit harsh in their criticisms of ConfusedCrib, but his criticisms of EG in his article were harsh and very personal to the EG players (aka iNcontroL, Machine, StrifeCro, and Axslav, as the others were specifically excluded).
