The feeling of oversaturation comes mostly from foreign events imo. If somebody were to watch ONLY the GSL tournaments, I don't think it would feel like an overly dense schedule at all.

It would bring alot more insight in the european scene to the show. someone else agrees that the show needs someone that knows the european scene? The problem is that it's 5.30 in the morning and I doubt Rotterdam or any other sane person would be willing to wake up at that time every Tuesday.

Although the Super Tournaments, WCs, etc might come on top of that, I'm not exactly sure right now. The feeling of oversaturation comes mostly from foreign events imo. If somebody were to watch ONLY the GSL tournaments, I don't think it would feel like an overly dense schedule at all. MSL and OSL normally have (had) 6 combined tourneys a year, the October GSL which will end at Blizzcon will be the 8th GSL this year. I guess they'll probably have nine main events for the whole year (this includes the World Cup, but why would we exclude it). That is more than in BW, but I don't think it is too bad either. The main difference is that MSL and OSL run at the same time, and each cycle lasts 3-4 months. So every 3-4months you have two new champions. GSL has another champion every 6weeks. I don't mind it too much personally. But if they were again to have a super-tournament of some sort, it should probably be at least 2-3 months long and be advertised as some kind of championchips above a regular GSL. This years super-tournament was pretty meh, basically the same as all the other GSLs with one additional round.

I less about the NA scene and in SOTG i'm getting information about that. 2. Why should 5/6 talk about something they don't know that well with a 6th person? 3. The show is working in the current state. It's mostly about selection of topics and the mood of the pillars if it's a good show.

I ignored your last bit about BW needing to die but you just keep going at it...but hey this is SC2 forums i should have known better. My point wasn't that I want it to die, in my eyes it's a simple fact that brood war will be pretty dead in 1-2 years from now, and that needs to happen to let sc2 grow. By no means does that mean that I want it to die, recent OSL finals were way better than any sc2 game I have ever seen.

He does not want a European talk show, but rather Rotterdam on SotG, so that everyone watches the same show instead of skipping the other, and EU and NA do not grow more apart. I think for this to happend it must be given alot of attenion from the community. Even tho i know the pillars are jokeing about EU its getting booring.

I think Bitter has the right idea.. JP if you read these comments. It will lead to more insights of the EU part of the foreigners community, which it now lacks. Please think about it! I havent heard Rotti deny that he didn't wanted to join in on 5.30 so let's assume he's fine with that :D. Remember, global ESPORTS!

It is awesome, games have been good, observing is at a new level, production is amazing, and sc2 in korean feels right, even when you don't understand a word like in bw. I'm sure the old bw'ers they are had their heart warmed by that ![]()
