This post is hilarious. You are mad at him being a hypocrite and 'negative'... but isn't your post really negative?? making you a hypocrite?? Geoff is a really nice guy that brings lots of laughs and good conversation. I really can't understand all the hate he gets. And why would you question his motives? Does that matter at all??

finally. Incontrol is superb at this. Deffo his strong side inside the world of esports atm! Really glad to have him back

If It is Incontrol maybe there cleverer than we think.
Take the case in 1985 of New Coke. Take something away from people, then give the same product right back to them and hail it as a new exciting rebrandment. Insert *Hype, hype, hype* and suddenly your more popular than you orignally were with the extact same service.
I don't actually believe thats whats happened, clever if it is though.

Wait, so you think he is getting paid to come back to Sotg? I seriously doubt that. I think he is just at a point where he is comfortable commiting to this kind of show again.

Yeah, except that New Coke was a fucking disaster.
Oh wait, maybe they did take notes on it after all...

I love Artosis, Tyler, JP, and Day9 (even if it does feel like he's never on), but the show has been lacking ever since Incontrol left. While I personally believe all the current pillars know more about the game than Incontrol does, they don't know how to actually discuss it. They all just state their opinions and move on. That's not entertaining.
Incontrol knew how to actually make a discussion out of it. He got people arguing (for lack of a better term) and while sometimes we have stupid argument like Day9 vs Idra, we get ones that actually go somewhere and better portray what the state of the game actually is.
Not to mention he's fucking hilarious.

What if its not someone who was on before but a old person who is friendly.
White-ra is clearly to new pillar I would love if this is the case. Should get drg mc and whitera on a special cast just with jp...and make it a drunk cast as well

Will be awesome if inControl returns. The show is an absolute snorefest without him.

Either incontrol or Idra would be great. Incontrol keeps the show funny and Idra keeps it interesting and is a good target for jokes =P

New coke was a massive success. It served its purpose amazingly.
Its purpose wasn't to sell New coke. Its purpose was to cause a massive boost in sales when they re-introduced coke classic due to everyone missing it. The whole forray was a net gain for coca-cola. Anyway I'm going a bit off-topic now and I doubt they're that fiendish.

Yup, because all of the hosts of SOTG are real high-rollers

hoping incontrol comes back, he really loves the game despite his shortcomings (which seem to get picked on a LOT by the community...we are harsh T.T) he created so much more discussion in the SotG casts and always added entertainment despite not knowing nearly as much as people like artosis and liquid'tyler about the game (tyler knows more because hes a thinker, he thinks about the game more than actually playing it, then practices his thoughts to perfection...when he practices, while incontrol is more of a massgamer)

No, No.
New Coke was supposed to be better than "old" Coke, they had done tests with a bunch of focus groups that showed that the majority enjoyed New Coke more than Old Coke AND Pepsi (the reason they came up with New Coke, to beat Pepsi). It's just that you can't judge the world purely on blind taste tests, there's otherfactors, like psychological and social psychological factors that change what the people like.

Also bring Incontrol back, or somebody that has the balls to say "No, I disagree"

I gotta be honest. Show has been hurting on the ol' energy level since inControl left.

Well your entitled to believe that. It was certainly what coca-cola fed to the public, and it may well even be true.
The net results whether intentional or not was huge gains for coca-cola in the aftermath of releasing an "inferior" product before re-releasing there old one and to quote the esteemed Dr Gregory House, "Results all that matter, not intentions".
