Its rare they actually talk about the game (like player to player talk, about strategy and the like) anymore so State of the Game while cool sounding doesn't really describe the show at all anymore. 1. They talked about strategy in each of the matchups last week. 2. There's not new developments to fill an entire show each week, so unless you want a show that's 15 minutes long each week or regular length once a month they're going to have to talk about other stuff. 3. Why does it matter whether or not the show's name literally describes the show? As much as I dislike G4, Attack of the Show does not involve anything being attacked (obstensibly), why does "State of the Game" have to fit your definition of "State" and "Game" and be about that?

Day9 and Artosis were casters employed by the NASL. From their perspective, everything was hunk-dory. You might say they had to say it was hunk-dory if they wanted a gig in the future. Tyler is still a pro player, and can't really afford to alienate himself from tournament organizers. Naniwa made an idle comment about being thankful that his NASL run is over, and ever since then Xeris has been, well, a little icy towards him. The scene is really small. There aren't many gigs for casters, so none of them (even no-fluff DJ Wheat) are going to criticize the NASL too harshly. Leah was pretty much the only person that openly suggested there was room for improvement. And she is more than qualified to speak about events and how they are run, because she covers them all.

But I don't think having her on every week is a good idea. Maybe it'd be cool if she had a Darth Vader app put over her voice or something, but I can't help but fast forward the vod when she's talking. I don't know if I'm in a plurality or minority or what, but I listen to the show to hear Tyler and Artosis', and sometimes Day9's, take on the state of the game, players, games, tournament results...and the validity of Leah's input feels like some random person grabbed off the street in comparison. She's a nice girl, is no doubt extremely dedicated, and I truly look forward to evolution of her involvement over time, but any time it's her and not Tyler/Day/Artosis, the opportunity cost goes through the roof. Mind you, the same sentiment applies to bad choices for guests. My heart and mind is in the players and personalities who, by some coincidence, have been around for years, are funny, have good chemistry, and provide insights via a platform that isn't all that common in starcraft 2 right now. I think it's great to have her perspective on the show, as somewhat of an outsider to the hardcore sc2 scene, but she attends events and from what she said on SoTG, watch a TON of games. Makes me sick when people hate on girls (non attention-whores) in the scene. They're important damnit!

State of the Game has become incredibly popular within the SC2 community. You want them to rename the show and lose their name recognition for a fairly minuscule reason? I disagree strongly.
