Sean's argument about college sports isn't quite apt here. He's never been to any LAN foreign tournaments so you can't say that. The reason he loses online foreign tournaments is because of the slight lag (I would think lag affects how Nestea plays more than any other player), but also I think that Nestea only played 1-2 foreign tournaments, lost early, and doesn't try any more.....he could do really well in foreign tournies if he tried alot harder.

I'm here. Explain how my statement contradicts yours. You consider ANY random game of starcraft 2 part of eSports. Why is it that another online game is not?
The reason is simple, because your reasoning is flawed.

Well considering Nestea said he will most likely never play in another online tourney he obviously thinks it is. I am more inclined to believe the best player in the world than a random TL poster.

eSports is the participation or practice of a highly competitive and mentally straining or exhilarating video-game on any level, degree or form of understanding.
this basic definition is not the whole form of E-Sports, but rather a concise depiction to show that your views of E-Sports is narrow-minded and petty. You think because it isn't play professionally or to a heightened degree, it has no contribution to the growth or to the practice.
Sleep on it. Your exaggeration of mentioning Farmville just shows your own flaws of understanding.
